I'm still not on-board with the cheating but that ending! I did NOT expect THAT! It's a hot read. You can get by without reading the prior installment but you'll understand the dynamics better if you do read The Babysitter first. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Title: The Boss's Daughter by L.M. Mountford (Sweet Temptations Book 2)

After finishing The Babysitter and enjoying it enough to see where the series is going to go I couldn’t wait to get into this one. We know from the synopsis and the first book this is going to focus more on Richard and his flirtation with his supervisor, Scarlet who also happens to be the CEO’s daughter. In book one we see her hitting on him very aggressively much to the displeasure of his wife, Alice but he’s already cheated once with their babysitter, Rebecca so what’s another one. While I don’t condone cheating in any fashion these kinds of books are my guilty pleasure especially when the wife gets her own revenge in the end which I am expecting in book 3.
The majority of this book actually revolves around normal things which was a surprise. After sleeping with Rebecca, Richard is haunted by his guilt but still keeps it from his wife who I am sure knows what happened because she sends Rebecca to Richard’s office that day with his lunch and then skypes him during that time. The pair must be working together since Alice seduces Richard while Rebecca gives him head under the desk but Richard believes that Alice doesn’t know Rebecca is there but everything she has said or done is indicting to me that the two women are working together.
After the work day ends Richard gets called into Scarlet’s office to discuss the account she had him working on but it was test for a promotion. However, she makes various comments during this time pushing Richard over the end leading to a very hot scene between them. By the time Richard returns home it is really late but he hears someone in bed with his wife and the jealousy arrives but it turns out that Alice and Rebecca are in bed together confirming my earlier thoughts and I can wait to see what happens in the final book now. One thing I really liked was how all the women in the book but especially Alice and Scarlet are sexually confident women who know what they want and exactly how to get it which you don’t see in erotic fiction often and it was a breath of fresh air.

This book carries on the story from the first book so definitely read the first book before this one if you haven't already done so. It's hard to give a review of this book without giving spoilers. What I will say is that I find it hard to believe that Richard is remorseful at all with the actions that he takes I'm really not liking his character and I guess I'm not a fan of the cheating theme. It is however a well written book with steamy scenes so if you're into that then this is the book for you.

This story is so full of heat. It’s more of a porn movie in my head than a book. Not sure how else to explain it. If you enjoy this kind of short story, then go for it!

The Lord of Lust L.M. Mountford created a spicy hot read with THE BOSS'S DAUGHTER! Whew, I needed an iced drink while reading it! So Very Hot!!!
Before I go further let me say this is a wildly fun book, has great details (things come to life), has great drama with twists, forbidden fantasy elements, was suspenseful, and has adult themes. Definitely for 18+ readers!

Highlights: plot was straightforward and cleverly written, highly sensual situations, humor
A few more aspects I enjoyed about the book was the pace was great, readers experience the book (not just read it), the plot flowed seamlessly, the women were strong/confident, the sizzle factor (hot scenes), and the characters had interesting dimensions (no character fell flat).
I loved that this book was playful, suspenseful (nail-biting at times), and it kept me guessing!
I give this read 5 Stars! Need a little heat then this one is sweetly tempting! THE BOSS'S DAUGHTER is great from start to finish! Cannot wait for the next one!

I strongly recommend you read “Sweet Temptations: The Babysitter” before reading “The Boss’s Daughter” as it gives insight into Richard’s life and how Alice, Rebecca, and Scarlet are involved.
This novella is steamy, erotic and involves giving into temptation. It’s a quick afternoon or before bedtime read. It does end in a cliffhanger but I’m looking forward to “The Final Temptation” to conclude the trilogy.
Book does include cheating on a spouse and a May/December romance and is entirely written from the male perspective, giving it a fresh feel from other erotic novellas/books.

Poor poor Dick. Once he tasted the sweet poison, he just went down and down the rabbit hole.....
I have been eagerly waiting to find out what happens to Richard after his lust filled encounter with the hot sweet young babysitter. Will he feel remorse? Will he repent? What will his wife say when she finds out? How will he deal with the Boss's daughter?
This book, this whole series is a cheating erotica book. So if blatant cheating is not your jam, walk away now .
I usually stay away from such book, but what grabbed me from the get go wasn't just the writing style, the flaming/fan yourself scenes, but the internal struggle this self proclaimed happily married man goes through before, between and after the act. Lewis does an excellent job looking into the man's psyche that makes him go down the road of cheating. And there are some amazing curve balls that you won't see coming.
Brava Lewis on delivering another stunning book. I am eagerly looking forward to read more of your work.

This book is definitely what I would class as titillating erotica- a story of taboo temptations- aka the boss’s daughter. We have met Richard previously when he was tempted by the babysitter- and follow him as he encounters this latest temptation.
I would like to have read a longer and more ‘meatier’ version of this story- but it was entertaining nonetheless.

Full disclosure if you hate stories about cheating please do yourself a favor and skip this book the whole premise of the book is Richard and him cheating. Of course, if you've read book one then you already know. This is book two in the Sweetest Temptations series. Technically you could read this as a standalone but you really should read the first book before you read this one. It's a continuation of the story. This is told pretty much from Richards POV and was definitely hot, smoking hot to be precise. There will be a third book in this series as this story ends on a cliffhanger.
Richards obviously in a bit of a predicament. He loves his wife but one night he makes a poor choice that changes everything, he sleeps with the babysitter. To make matters worse his boss's daughter who is also his boss has been playing games with him and now she knows his secret. She's also been flirting with him and pushing his buttons. What is Richard going to do?

We are told that Richard Martin was married to a wife he loved and father to a son he adored. But my impression of him is that he is easily lured to the forbidden and will partner up with anything female regardless of the age. We last saw Richard previously succumbing to temptation when the babysitter made an offer he couldn’t resist. (I would highly advise not even smiling at a man like this who would take it as a direct invitation into the bedroom.) Now he is about to start his latest temptation adventure.
Scarlet Holmes is his Supervisor. The woman is known to toy with her staff. And knowing about Richard and his weaknesses, she wants to play (although he seems so easy that it’s not a great victory to seduce him). Richard Martin having cheated on his wife already is trying to find forgiveness. Scarlet Holmes , the boss’s daughter knows about Richard’s situation and wants a piece of him. Oh and she always gets what she wants.
The characters are written well and grow throughout the story. Richard’s internal struggles down his path of cheating is written well by this author. Showing the male thought of how he got there.

Sweet Temptations: The Boss’s Daughter by L.M. Mountford is a hot a steamy book that will really grab your attention right from the word go. This is the second book in the series however it can be read as a standalone, although once you have read it you will definitely want to go back and fill in the rest.
This is a short story however it is packed full of exciting goings on. L.M. Mountford has yet again created a story that I just couldn’t put down and had to read in one sitting. I was fully engaged with Richard and the temptations he faces yet again. The series does go fully into what some consider a taboo topic so my only recommendation would be to make sure you are happy reading this type of book before you start. If you are then I would highly recommend you start reading this whole series today!

There is a TON of smoking hot sex scenes. I was thinking that by the time I was done reading these 83 pages, I was going to need see Antonio myself! I loved this steam-filled erotica book!

There are some typos and due to the country of origin slang being different it could cause a few times where I had to reread the sentences to understand the meaning. I agree with the note to read the other book first or you will not understand all that is going on coming into this book. I began reading the book without reading the first book and stopped to get the other book to read to gain the background knowledge to know the full story of the characters and the situation the characters were in. The characters definitely continued to evolve during this book and there were PLENTY of steamy sex scenes that lead up to one heck of a cliff hanger that I honestly did NOT see coming! I am looking forward to the last book to see how all the characters end up and who they end up with.

He has developed quite the sweet tooth
The Boss's Daughter is is the second book in the Sweet Temptations series and continues the story of Richard Martin and his cheating ways. I would suggest that you read The Babysitter before this one but you don't necessarily have to. Richard has developed a definite sweet tooth and in this story that sweetness also comes with some major zing in the form of Scarlet Holmes. She may be the bosses daughter but she knows what she wants and that would be a whole lot of him.
Be warned that if you read this you have to be okay with cheating. If you can get past that then this one will ignite your Kindle and burn your fingers with all the blazing hot sexy scenes.

Our hero is trying to overcome a past indiscretion, but temptation is a hard thing to overcome. Especially when our heroine is determined to get her way.
This is a sequel (i.e. book two) to a previous story, but it works pretty well as a standalone. You will just be missing some of the backstory on why our hero is where he is.
This is a short erotic story with a taboo theme. The story is very well written and easy to read, with a well developed background that sets the story in motion. Our characters have a bit of depth to them, which is nice. The plot is good and proceeds at a nice pace while including plenty of enjoyable steam. It is a very fun story and even better as a sequel.
Highly recommended.

The Boss’s Daughter by L.M. Mountford is the second book in the Sweet Temptations series. Richard is caught up in a very hot, forbidden liaison with his boss's daughter. Scarlet is a minx! She knows how to get what she wants and pulls out all stops to obtain what her heart desires. She also loves the power it gives her. These two have blistering hot chemistry. Their encounters could cause you to need a fan, cold drink and privacy. Fantastic way to spend your evening relaxing with a great book. One problem though, Richard is married. How does he make this right? Will he tell his wife? Will he lose it all? You will have to read the book to find out! I am waiting /hoping for book three! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book from the author.

This is the second book of the Sweet Temptations series. In the first book, Richard cheated on his wife with the young babysitter. In this second book, Richard regrets his actions and thinks of way to tell his wife. But everything changes after Rebecca brings him a lunch at work.
This is an erotic romance with an interesting story line filled with hot scenes, lots of temptations and interesting twists. The main character Richard really struggles not only with what he did, but also with what life threw at him. I recommend to read the first book to be able fully understand his action. Although I don’t condone cheating, I sympathize with him.

Two and a half stars
I really wanted to like this book, but I just couldn’t connect with Richard, the central character.
Richard does something he regrets right in the very beginning. He then struggles with how and when to tell his wife Alice. Would she forgive him or leave him?
His inner turmoil and angst are clearly not enough for him to change his ways as he goes right back to it. In the end, it’s his wife with a big surprise for him.
This just wasn’t for me. I liked his wife, but didn’t like the rest of the characters or the lack of connection to each other. I’ll give this author another try.

BUT things heat up when Scarlet Holmes, his supervisor AND the boss’s daughter, finds out his deepest secrets. Wow!! Let the games begin!! I have not read the first book in the series and was able to follow along but I had read The Babysitter first. It would have given me a better understanding of the characters. Poor Richard he's trying to juggle it all. His wife, his family, his job and his boss's sexy daughter. He's already in the dog house with his wife for cheating and what does he do but cheat with the boss's daughter. He just can't resist the temptation. And cheat he does - talk about some steamy sex scenes. The book is well written and an easy read. The characters are entertaining. I read a free book via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

Wow! Poor Richard! Can’t keep it in the pants! But we will forgive him. Even if we don’t like cheating. This is written in his point of view, and that’s why I, at least can forgive him for cheating on Alice. The thing is that poor Dick doesn’t goes out to find a sidekick, no, they find HIM; without any doubt. Hilarious story! I liked it! And I liked the reverse rules as well. For someone never dominant he sure knows his ropes! Even if it is a short read, my warning stands: don’t read it in your break! You’ll not be able to camouflage your red face! Have fun with it!
