Review for This Time
By Amy Reece
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely loved the next installment of the DeLuca brothers series!

It was a story of unrequited teenage love that once Nina and Seamus were thrown back together due to an unfortunate circumstance found that they both still both had deep feeling for each other.

Can’t wait to see what Amy has up her sleeve for the rest of the DeLuca clan.

Amy Reece has produced another winner! "This Time" was full of suspense, romance, mystery, and some seriously steamy moments! The thing I really like about the DeLuca series is how the whole family is intertwined throughout the stories even though each book is about a certain sibling and their life. In "This Time", Reece works through the mystery so well considering neither of the main characters are law enforcement. To me, it requires a certain skill to present, investigate and solve a mystery without one of the characters being in some kind of law enforcement. I was impressed! I also loved the story of Nina and Seamus, their long-time, deeply buried smoldering feelings for each other...will they...won't they? I won't tell! You've got to read this fun, addicting book to find out! Well done, Amy Reece! I loved it!

Nina Braden was going through life being a divorced woman, and single mom to a set of twin girls, when her world is thrown into chaos. Her twin brother Neal is found dead, and she's the only one who thinks his cause of death was off. It also brings the man who she's a thing for since she was a girl, Seamus DeLuca, her brother's best friend back into her life. As they wade through all the chaos, she has those feelings rushing back, but he's still not able to act on any feelings he may have. And to make the situation even worse, it seems that Nina was right about her brother's death, and it's now ruled a homicide, but she can't figure out who would have wanted to hurt him, though there are a few acting strangely. This story was amazing from the beginning to the end. Yeah, it was a slow burn romance, which usually drives me crazy, but with the whole suspense factor involved, I wasn't too worried about it, as I was on the edge of my seat. I was cheering Nina & Seamus on the whole time but more to the point, as the twists were around every corner, I was dropping more f-bombs than anything. Thankfully, the cast of secondaries were all different shades of interesting, whether they be the good, the bad, or the ugly, and they definitely added more depth, especially the DeLuca family, and two tiny humans. I absolutely LOVE Amy Reece's talented & addictive writing style, and this family will be on my heart forever, as I'll NEVER get enough of them! Bottom Line, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This was such a good story and my first to read from a new arthur. This book put me through the ringer it had me feeling all the feel's it had so much love and twists and turns and suspense at every corner and is definitely a page turner. It pulled me in from page 1 to the end I couldn't put it down.
Nina is a strong and carrying divorced woman and the mother of 2 twin 6 yr old girls and has just found out her twin brother Neal has been found dead at his office and she is devastated and turns to his best friend Seamus for consoling. As they both try to work through what has happened they both start realizing that they still have feelings for each other that the feelings that they'd had back when they were younger were still there, but Seamus never acted on them for his promise to Neal about his sister and even though he's feeling like this he has a girlfriend, but then thing's start happening to Nina and all he wants to do is protect her and the girls and make sure their safe as they try to figure out who? Why? I'd definitely recommend getting this book it was so good.

This is my unbiased opinion and my review.

Friends to Lovers

What can be more sexy than a hawt firefighter? Not much. Seamus is Hugh and Izzy's younger brother. He's all tough and manly on the exterior, but sweet and sexy at the same time. He's brought into Gina's life because her twin brother, Neal, has died. Seamus and Neal had been good friends when they were young and through high school. Neal's death was originally considered a suicide, but it was determined that he was murdered.
Gina is a single mom, raising her two adopted twin daughters. She is also a college professor. Her brother's death is a huge shock and Seamus is there to help her with everything.
I enjoyed how Seamus and Gina got reacquainted with eachother. Seamus was great in earning her daughters trust. Plus, the rest of the Deluca family that we've fallen in love with, are all there to help solve the murder, find who's been threatening Nina, and be supportive in every way.
To me, it was obvious who the bad guy(s) is/are and the author did a good job in adding a twist in the end. Overall, it was a good read with both suspense and romance.

Who doesn't love a hot firefighter

I have patiently waiting for Seamus's story and I was not disappointed! I absolutely love Nina and her girls and my heart broke for her in this book. I always say sometimes you have to live and learn before you are meant to get your one true love and this story definitely proves it. Seamus was best friends with Nina's twin brother and when tragedy strikes they find their way back to one another. I loved how the author showed the comradery between Seamus and his fellow firefighters and as a wife of one this totally rang true. The suspense factor had you wanting to turn the page to see what happens next and when you finally get all your answers it made for an amazing plot twist. I love it when the bad guy gets his in the end! I only wish Seamus would have been the one to end it with Sloane instead of the way it happened he should have manned up and just left her when he realized how miserable he was with her. All in all it was a great book with a wonderful hea. Can't wait to read the next one in the series. Love me so.e DeLuca's.

Addictive Read

Oh my goodness!!! This book captured my attention right off the bat and it kept me intrigued and glued to my Kindle all the way through the very last page.

I kept thinking theories of who the killer could've been the whole time, if the events that kept happening to Nina were related, what would the bad guy do next... My wheels kept TURNING and I LOVED THAT.

What I loved even more was how swoon-worthy Seamus was. He stepped up to the plate and cared for Nina and her completely adorable twin girls from the very beginning. A hot firefighter with a swoony side? YES, please.

This was the first book from this series that I have read and shame on me for not starting this series sooner! Suffice it to say that I will be one-clicking the other books ASAP.

FIVE STARS and a book I HIGHLY recommend you read!

Another fun DeLuca romance

Book four in the DeLuca Family series does not disappoint. Fun romantic story with a bit of a mystery. Great to get to revisit favorite couples from the previous books. Always nice to see how each of the family members find their perfect mate, even if they don’t recognize what fate has in store for them. Now just to wait for the next one. 😊

Seamus and Nina.

This was decent up until the end. Everything ended up solved and all tied together in one chapter. I was also a bit disappointed in that I didn't feel the same sibling connections in this book as the other books in the series. Overall, still a goid read.

Written well and easy to follow. Short but entertaining. First one of the series I’ve read. Look forward to going back to the start.

Likeable characters and a suspenseful story. Great addition to the series. I hope we get a story for the rest of the Deluca siblings someday.
