Astor Bannerman Elexo shower chair

The Elexo shower and toilet chair from Astor Bannerman is electrically height adjustable. It has been designed to allow easy control and manoeuvrability, while ensuring maximum comfort for the user.

Unusually, the range of height adjustment means that the seated user can be at eye level with the carer, which facilitates easy communication and positive interaction. Awkward bending and back strain for the carer can be avoided.

Airospring shaped pressure cushion

Airospring’s new AS300 pressure relief cushion has a shaped profile and provides postural support.

Anyone who spends long periods sitting down is at risk of pressure damage and pain. The patented warp-knitted 3D space fabric from which the cushion is made spreads pressure widely, and the shaping of the cushion provides postural support, by incorporating a recess that supports the pelvis and also helps with distributing pressure.
