The 2019 Summer Reading Challenge has ended

The 2019 Summer Reading Challenge: Space Chase has now finished for 2019 and lots of books were read over the summer.

We'd like to thank our army of dedicated volunteers without whom the challenge just wouldn't happen.

TechFest is coming to Central Library

We're celebrating libraries week next month with our Tech Fest event.

Get hands-on with the latest technology, discover learning opportunities and find out about career opportunities from local industry experts.

This is a free event being held at Central Library on Saturday, 12 October from 11am-3pm.

Roundabout Reading

We all have different interests and we all learn in our own way.  One thing we all have in common though is we never stop learning.

Our new young persons and adult reading adventure will be having an official celebration on the 17 September at Central Library for people wanting to get their organisation involved.

Come and see some fantastic artwork and speak to Swindon artists at the Central Library. We're hosting Donna Bradley and Carmen B Norris over the weekends of 21-22 and 27-28 September.

Live Poetry to Celebrate Mental Health Day

On Thursday, 12 October in conjunction with World Mental Health day, Rusty Goat’s Poetry Corner will be bringing a special edition of live poetry to Central Library.
