Last week, IIAC Vice President, Michelle Alexander, hosted a members-only session to provide an overview of the newly released Client Focused Reforms, which outlined key changes to National Instrument 31-103 and Companion Policy 31-103CP, and answered questions from members. The session was well attended, with 75 people participating. If you were unable to attend, but are interested in hearing the recording, please click here (members only). A summary of the new amendments outlining changes from the previous version of the Client Focused Reforms is available here (members only).
In addition, the IIAC will be reconstituting its Client Focused Reforms Working Group. The Working Group will delve into a deeper analysis of the Client Focused Reforms and identify questions of interpretation, implementation and practical issues that can be raised with the CSA Implementation Committee.
If you are interested in participating on the Client Focused Reforms Working Group, please contact Katherine Tiller.
If you have any questions on the amendments, please contact Michelle Alexander.
