Airbus and Spirit Airlines have announced about the finalized order for 100 A320neo Family aircraft. The final purchase agreement followed the Memorandum of Understanding that the US-based carrier and European planemaker signed in October, 2019.

This would be a mix of A319neo, A320neo, and A321neo aircraft. On the engine, therefore, the airline is to decide later, Airbus provides is a statement.

Delivery of the planes ordered is scheduled through 2027.
