Last week I wrote to let you know I had published a huge guide to teaching online due to school closures. I've been continuing to update this resource daily, so do check it out if you're planning for remote learning. 

Here in Geelong, Australia there are no mass closures of schools yet... however, things are changing rapidly. 

I have just published my 10 Tips For Parents Teaching Young Children At Home based on my own experiences of unexpectedly homeschooling my children.

These tips might be helpful for any parents you know faced with the task of educating their children at home. 

I've included my sample daily planner and lots of links to free resources too.

Just a final reminder that the Student Blogging Challenge has just started. 

This challenge has been running twice a year since 2008. It's a great way for students aged about 8-16 to learn about publishing online while connecting with a global audience. 

The challenge is free, flexible and fun. You're welcome to register late but get in before April 5.
