I’m a writer, musician, and cat lover. Not always in that order.

I write what needs to come out, whether it’s pain, tears, or laughter. I write people and relationships, about the beauty and horror of what we do to ourselves and each other. I write Love. Vengeance. Compassion. Cruelty. Trust. Betrayal. Forgiveness. Darkness, and the incredible way humans destroy and heal each other.

I like to eradicate barriers, refusing to be confined by the laws of physics or limitations of reality. I will befriend a vast population of possibilities and introduce them in ways that might surprise you.

“Do you know how hard it is to watch someone take a punch for you? To go hungry so you can eat? To shiver so you can have the one blanket? I’ve spent my entire life watching him suffer to protect me, and I …I can’t do it now. Not again. Not for her.”

Falling North by Alyson Santos was an emotional and raw story of two brothers who have grown up under horrific circumstances only to find their escape in music. Starting a band and trying to break through is their sole purpose in life and only path. Music is both therapy and the escape they need. Alyson Santos writes with such conviction and an effortless hand when it comes to the tortured rock star. Her rock stars are compelling as they truly come alive in the pages.

‘…it’s not just an urge to hug him I’m fighting. No, I want to completely break him open and consume him until his mind, body, and soul are mine. I want every single breath that forms him, so when his gaze suddenly lifts and finds me hovering, my pounding heart detonates in my chest.’

Xander is our leading man but he comes as a package with his brother Matty, who is the one person that Xander fiercely loves and protects. As it has been their entire lives; first whilst growing up in Brazil then when moving to the US. Whilst Matty is the lead singer, Xander is the true leader of their band; the drummer and songwriter. Expelling his inner demons through song lyrics. He’s an artist, a poet, a master wordsmith and a musical genius. He’s also broken from the heavy burden of their shared past, the mental health of his brother and being the sole provider. The only love he knows is what he feels for Matty and whilst he’s loved in return, more than he truly realises, he craves the love of a good woman. Especially the woman who leaves a deep impression in a fleeting moment yet becomes a huge part of his life. Xander stole our hearts and our tears. His story was intense and so incredibly emotional we felt his pain and frustration. We fell in love with him and his words.

‘I’ve spent my entire life holding up a fractured universe. Protecting those who deserved it and those who didn’t. Playing the martyr with no hope of ever finding peace, ever having the freedom to take a clean breath…I’ve been falling north for twenty-seven years. I don’t even know which way is up.’

Lydia is out to prove herself, her tenacity, her skills and her knowledge as a musical marketing guru. Despite her family connections Lydia works to achieve her goal in life through her own hard work, relying on no one. She’s a formidable character, a strong woman who works hard and is comfortable in her own skin with the knowledge that you have to work for what you want and go for what makes you happy. Whilst not one to rake risks she doesn’t let the chance of happiness, love and success slip between her fingers. Especially not when she’s hired to promote the profile of the newly signed Falling Back North.

“The music exists in another place. You can go there any time, under any circumstances. Your eyes can be swollen shut, your stomach empty. It doesn’t matter. You can drown out even the loudest screams, external and internal. And when you get to go to that place with the only other person who matters to you…you create a bond strong enough for others to feel it too.”

This is the second book in this series of standalones and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Alyson Santos writes a great tortured rock star romance which fills you with every emotion she successfully conveys through her words. We do wish it had delved a tad deeper into the past so we could have experienced it first hand in order to truly feel that hopeless desperation of Xander and Matty, Also we wish we’d had more interaction with the other band mates in order to form that full connection. However, the music element was spot on and we felt that incredible rush of anticipation and hunger when the band took to the stage. It’s a rush and so spine-tingling good!

“Accept your story and recognise the beauty that came out of the pain. Fucking embrace it. Be proud of the shithole that made you so no one can hurt you with it again.”

I am always completely in awe of Alyson's enormous talent. It's obvious that she has extensive musical knowledge as she conveys that in her enriching, intelligent and unique writing. Her characters are humble, genuine, selfless and bring such emotional depth to her stories. To say that I'm a fan of her work would be an understatement. I absolutely love it! She is one of my go-to authors and when one of her books drops on my kindle, I immediately clear my schedule to curl up and get lost in her words.

In Falling North we are introduced to two brothers with a troubled past trying to create a name for themselves in the music industry. Not having full creative rights to their songs has taken away from their unique sound, which hasn't helped their success. So Turner Music sends in Lydia Carmichael, a respected marketing specialist, to help save the band. After some rebranding, things are finally looking up until ghosts from the past reemerge and threaten their success.

Xander and Matty's story was heartbreaking, but together they were able to get through anything. Their bond, love and devotion to one another was absolutely awe-inspiring. And Xander and Lydia had an immediate connection and chemistry that was off the charts. This slow-burn story is packed with so much emotion and sexual tension that I was furiously flipping the pages while squirming with anticipation. This is one journey that you simply do not want to miss. Five stars and more for Xander, Matty, Lydia and Falling North!

I'm just going to go ahead and say it, Xander is mine. We all know that I have been in love with Jesse from Limelight for years, but he might have been surpassed with this one. From the first chapter, the first look between these two, I was hooked on them. You could actually feel the connection jump off the pages into your heart. I can't count the amount of times my heart soared and my stomach had butterflies while reading this book.
Xander and Matty are brothers with a troubled past trying to make it in the music industry. Turner Music is charged with getting them on the map. Enter Lydia, the girl Matty is seriously crushing on. She is going to help their band, Falling North, become a household name. Unfortunately, the bigger they get, more ghosts from their past reemerge and threaten their success.
This book has heart, it has soul and it has depth. The connection between Xander and Lydia is instant but fighting demons is hard, especially the ones in your own mind. You definitely don't want to miss their journey.

I fell in love with Alyson Santos's writing when I read my first book by her: Rising West. It was a no-brainer that I'd be back for more where that came from. And once again - the writing completely swept me off my feet. I don't know what it is about her writing style - but it sucks me in immediately and keeps me compulsively turning pages - heart, soul, and brain all fully engaged.

I loved this story!

I love the concept of this series - they're interconnected but solidly stand alone. Each story seems fresh and unique.

The chemistry between Xander and Lydia sparked immediately - I loved their banter and their sassy, sexy meet-cute. I didn't always connect with Xander's choices (honestly, he left me feeling exasperated sometimes) but I adored his loyalty and the enormity of his love for his brother Matty and how that left him tortured, bearing the weight of the world on his shoulders and how that impacted his choices and the consequences of those choices. I think I might have liked to have seen a little more of that ferocity of emotion extended toward Lydia. There were times I didn't connect as much with their situations. But then their storyline would swoop and twist and suddenly there I was, breathless and starry eyed over their sweet, desperate connection.

Falling North is a rockstar romance that reads more like a family drama. That is - it's not necessarily a typical rockstar romance. The family dynamic seemed to take the spotlight - which isn't a complaint. I loved that there are no cliches here. There is a fair amount of angst, and some tear-filled moments. But in the end I could not be more happy with the way the story played out. Well worth the ride! ~ Shelly, 4 Stars

Alyson Santos continues to wow in the second book of her Turner Artist Rocker series with Xander and Lydia’s story. Even though each story stands alone, the very best songs come with a full chorus.

Falling North is a perfect title for this book, and the author eloquently sets out all the reasons why within its pages.

Xander writes the music and is the drummer for Falling Back North, a rock band sitting on the cusp of stardom. Along with Matty, his younger brother who’s the lead singer, and their two cousins, they make up the band members. The brothers have been through hell on earth since early childhood and are just now beginning to find a better life although still confronted with struggles. But when they meet Lydia, the beautiful, determined and talented young woman hired as the band's promoter -- the best is yet to come.

There’s plenty of angst and drama that ignites when the brothers unknowingly first lay eyes on the same girl. Now don’t go getting all-fired up thinking this smells like a triangle – because it’s not. These guys are admirably aware of each other and what’s real and what’s not. The bro code is everything between them and they each prove it over and over. Hold on to your heart because there’s no doubt you’re going to fall head-over-heels in love with the Silva boys!

The instantaneous connection between Xander and Lydia is palpable and unbreakable, even as hard as Xander might otherwise try. Their emotional feelings took a direct hit to the heart from the get-go. No turning back even though the road might get a little bumpy along the way.

And you can forget about feeling sorry for Matty because this guy has his own irresistible and magnetic pull. He’s wickedly handsome, funny and is quite capable of tooting his own horn loudly and proudly. Nobody’s keeping that boy from living life to the fullest. And I hope that he’ll get his own book and soon!

Poetic, poignant and sensual, this story overflows in a soul-searing angst-fest from start to finish. Santos bountifully delivers another edgy, sexy and captivating novel.

My only disappointment is that the author didn’t quite take the closure far enough, particularly in regards to one disgusting and irredeemable character. There’s insinuation – but not fully set out and that bugs me.

Otherwise, you’ll find that this band and all its members show up to:

STRIVE – THRIVE – SURVIVE – ARRIVE

If you’re a fan of rock star romances, this one gets a loud and noisy standing ovation.

5 "...told you from the beginning..." Stars

I absolutely cannot get enough of the slow burn, rock star romance books from Alyson Santos. For each new character brings emotional depth, great charm, and undeniable vulnerabilities to her beautiful stories. Her beautiful gift of writing cultivates a true kinship between character and reader establishing a connection you feel from beginning to end.

In Falling North Santos offers a new kind of scenario for her rockers: two brothers trying to create a name for themselves in the music industry while simultaneously outrunning their many demons. Our main, male protagonist, Xander Silva, will leave you in awe. He's a brilliant blend of complex, tortured, and beyond loyal while full of love and little hope. His presence in this story stays with you long after the end - he's what true "book boyfriends" are made of. His counterpart in the female lead character works wonders for the chemistry and structuring of this story. Her confidence, attitude, and understanding will have you loving her.

The familial and friend connections in this book also really make it shine off from the pages. Santos has made a family story out of this book too which works so well for what these characters need in their lives. It's angsty and tough but full of overwhelming light and engaging romance creating a solid connection to these characters. The Turner Artist Rocker series and Falling North having quickly landed on my favorite rocker romance list. I highly recommend to all romance lovers.

*** ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review. ***
Alyson Santos is definitely one of my favorite storytellers ever, writing about tortured souls that always conveys emotion to another level, straight to the guts, sincere and real, melting with music so perfectly.
Even if I finally landed after this emotional rollercoaster ride, about two brothers who finally had made it, a second chance after everything they’ve been through.
I felt this heaviness in my chest, Xander’s story utterly moved me from the beginning until the end. Each chapter was an honest, gut wrenching thought when the main characters bared their souls. Throughout the story, the pieces started to be assembled, showing the good and the bad, their aspirations and fears.
Xander and Lydia were such amazing characters. A selfless man who almost raised his brother alone and endured so much. It’s always been he and his brother against the word, with a chance to shine and not falling this time. A second chance of a better life and future.
There was so much at stake and when their past would ruin everything they’ve been working for, that was how the darkness would take over. An authentic personality with a strong stage presence, charismatic like an exhilarating experience, sharing their music with full heart and soul.
Lydia came into his life like a ray of light, warming and tempting but so forbidden. I appreciated that woman’s strong personality, finding the right angles and respecting the artists they worked with. I liked that she was going for what she wanted without shame and meaning and value.
Let’s just say that it’s going to be a slow burn, sexual tension between these two adding another layer to this incredible connection they shared.
The back and forth was smoking hot and making every moment turning into longing, passionate times but nonetheless more than physical, connecting their two souls. When the music came, it emphasized a thousand times more the characters' feelings, revealing the things they couldn’t express sometimes.
Alyson Santos’ writing went straight to my heart, lyrical, moving and exploring deep down in every character a tough battle, sometimes very stormy, completely and transparently.
Also it was a beautiful and powerful story about survivors and people who never give up in achieving their dreams.
As you might guess, I loved every single moment. I can’t wait to read more about this series!

5 Star Review of Falling North (A Turner Artist Rocker #2) by Alyson Santos

From the first chapter to the last I was enthralled with the story that Alyson Santos told. Her writing is strong and her characters have a depth about them that I appreciate. This is Xander Silva and Lydia Carmichael’s story and oh what an amazing story it is.
Xander and his brother Matty have issues and personal demons that need to be faced. It is these actions that form the basis of a story that will draw you in and have you totally invested.
Their troubled relationship is also complicated by the fact that they have both fallen for Lydia. Ms.Santos is not afraid to take the readers on a deeper journey and to tackle hard issues.
The connection between Xander and Lydia is intense and you can almost feel the air sizzling with the attraction that lies between them.
Can Xander and Matty overcome the ghosts of the past, come to terms with their history and in turn make a success of their blossoming music career? Or will the past that has haunted them put an end to Xander and Lydia’s relationship?
Falling North is an emotional roller coaster of a read that will get to you on many levels. The writing is strong and I loved that the characters are flawed, they are human, they have issues and I appreciate that as it adds an additional layer to the story.

My Brazilian heart has a soft spot for these brothers. Their love for each other is the stuff families should be made off.

This is so much more than a romance book. Oh, the romance is there, don't get me wrong. The sexy times too. It burns the pages...err, kindles.

But is more than that.

This is a story of love, endurance, survival and sacrifice. And it's beautifully told.
Alyson Santos hits you right in the feels. This is an emotional, tension filled sexy read that will leave you wanting more.

How can you not fall madly in love with this story and awesome characters. I was floored with how much more than a rockstar romance this book is. The power of family, specifically brotherhood is revered in a heartwarming way all throughout this read.

This is about a band chasing their dream and the bumpy journey filled with road blocks. Right away you see a major one, they both have notice their beautiful new pr rep who is on tour with them. Throw in dark elements and people from their abusive childhood, well I might have gotten a little choked up at times.

The descriptiveness of this author is magically done. I fell deep into the beauty of this story’s telling, driving my need to shut the rest of the world out. It is noticeable that this author has musical interests herself by how her words often flow like a song or poetry.

UGH! This book is sooo good. I need a good book club so I can discuss all. Eek. Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO.

Falling North was an intense, full of emotions, heartbreaking and heartwarming read.

Lydia is a PR hired to help a new struggling band to get the attention of the public it deserves.
Xander and his brother, Matty, form the Falling Back North with their cousins.
Lydia’s work is not easy because it seems that the two brothers don’t have any narrative to grab the fans attention, in fact Xander made everything in his power to bury their past but really soon he will have to confront with his demons.

I’ve appreciates how Xander and Lydia tried to ignore their attraction for each other and their burning chemestry in order to protect their job and family but you know when real Love is in the air you don’t get any chance.

I recommend this book and the previous Alyson Santos works because she is my favourite author when it gets to Rock Bands romance.

A Story of Brothers

Ok listen. Yes, this book is romance. I mean the blurb tells you it’s a romance. There is a relationship that develops yes and I loved that story too, but, but! arguably more than that it was a story about brothers and family and overcoming and strength and the reality that you are not alone.

The way a medical situation was described in this book was so obviously written by someone who understands it from personal experience. I have dealt with similar health issues and was so impressed by the detail and accuracy and ability to describe to the reader how it feels to suffer from the condition.

So far in this series we have a west, north, and south. Maybe Matty will be east and get his own book next!

FALLING NORTH: Is “NOW” my very favorite book written by Alyson Santos. The reason I say this is because of the leading male character Xander & his younger brother Maddie. Their story is heart-wrenching and their bond and devotion to each other is the most solid unbreakable connection you will ever read. With this book Alyson has taken her writing to a new level.

The band Falling Back North has so much talent and potential. Xander Silva, the band leader and drummer, has been so stressed that they aren't being allowed to be who they are. They have their music controlled by people that are ruining their unique sound. The agency throws a Hail Mary by hiring the respected marketing genius Lydia Carmichael. Besides from being very good at her job, she is gorgeous. The brothers Xander and Maddie have both previously met Lydia. This was before she was hired to save their band. She was enamored and desired by both in their own way. This is not the usual love-triangle. Both man think she could be their everything. But Xander would give up his very life if it would save his brother. Lydia only wants the one brother that way, but she is determined to save both and their band, too. Quite a woman! All the main characters in this book are wonderful! They will break your heart, then end up mending it. “This is the man I saw on stage that first night. The one I've been searching for ever since. I did this. Me, the girl who doesn't take risks and risked everything to find him in the darkness and drag him toward the light.”

Love the music lyrics and they tell a story of their own:

“The distance between us, a mile and a day. Searching for you, I saw your light a second too late. I'd circle the earth for a stolen moment or two. Clearly I'm lost now that I've found you.”

“I came north of hell to find you south of love. You were flying high when I closed in, just not close enough.”

“I'm right here where you're far. Can you hear my breaking heart?
How do I reach you Always stranded south of love?”

It's no secret that I'm a fan of Alyson's, and I absolutely love how much of herself she puts in her writing. Her knowledge of music, how it makes people feel, and the utter importance of it just blows me away. She truly captivates what's in your heart and soul, and makes me beg for as many words she's willing to give.

This book is so much more than a rockstar romance; It's about the power of love, of family, music, and sacrifice. This also isn't your normal love triangle which made me love this book that much more.

Xander has always been his brothers protector from everything -- including their own parents. He would sacrifice his own dreams, his own life, for Matty. Both of them are frustrated beyond belief that they can't achieve what they've always wanted (creating their own sound, and having their listeners truly connect with their own music) PR exec Lydia is hired to make their dreams come true and get them to connect with their audience.. But with greater success comes larger chances to fall, and with once-burried secrets are out in the open, what will they have left?

I love, love, LOVED this book! I was in my feelings throughout its entirety, and even though the romance aspect was amazing (and hot!) My favorite part was the love between the two brothers. Their devotion to each other is unlike anything thay I've ever read.

Please do yourselves a favor and one click this amazing book immediately!! This is a book that deserves to be read!

I'm completely overwhelmed by Alyson's words. And I'm not surprised by that knowledge. She continuously gives us characters that are honest, raw, and heartbreakingly real. Her stories feel so pure and organic. There's a beautiful rhythm to her words that feel like a song with it's glorious harmony. If you've ever wondered how something so sad and tortured could display such beauty, you need not to go farther than one of Alyson's books. Falling North is another prime example of breathtaking beauty in the flight to seek the light out of the deepest & darkest pasts.

Just when you think book boyfriends couldn't get more perfect, Alyson gives you Xander, the puppy-dog poet. He is extraordinarily good... the perfect man, brother, protector, lover. He is selfless, tender, talented, humble.

Lydia... is strong, smart, patient, totally badass. All her life she's worked to be perfect to fulfill this role she feels she has to play. And when she's finally assigned the dream job of rebranding the up-and-coming band Falling Back North, she begins to rebrand herself and the person she wants to be.

One of my favorite quotes of all-time, and I don't even know where I heard it, is "Friends are the family you choose". And even though Xander, Matty, and their cousins are blood relation, they've had to choose who their family is. Throughout this story, we see that their "family" now extends to people they've met along the way... people who have helped them become successful in the music industry and people who have inspired them. I love the cameos from Limelight. The few scenes with the band, especially Jesse just takes this to another level. It was the perfect segue connecting the NSB series to this Turner Artist Rocker Series.

Lydia and Xander are probably my favorite of the series. From the very beginning, you are drawn into the story, needing to know more about what is going on. Matty and Xander pull you in, leave you breathless, and you can't help but continue because you have to be part of their story, even if it is just for a little while. Then you have Lydia. This girl is my girl crush. She knows what she wants and she isn't afraid to take it.

Bringing them together was a beautiful work of art that took form in a sensuous, slow burn romance that had you on your knees, loving each and every moment between them. Throughout, you are experiencing every single emotion as the characters pull them out of you. You can't help but feel each and every possible thing that Alyson throws out there.

The character dynamic is top notch, but then you add the details that Alyson pulls into the story and you feel like you are there, in the moment, watching it all unfold in front of you like you are in a theater and this was a movie, instead of a book. Every moment is perfectly choreographed, detailed to the smallest part, so that you feel all of it. I can't say enough about it.

Five stars for this emotional, angsty rockstar romance that will keep you pulled in to the story with every page you turn.

After Limelight and Rising West I thought this is it. That Alyson Santos reached her top. I was wrong. Falling North is everything you'd expect from a rockstar romance. Everything and even more.

Xander Silva is the kind of rocker character we all love. He's passionate, he's talented, he's gorgeous and... has a dark past. Check. Check. Check. Check. His brother may be the frontman, the face, the voice of Falling Back North but it's Xander to writes the lyrics and keep the band together. He's the soul of the band and the shield. He'd to anything to keep Matty save, anything. Brothers forever. Falling Back North seems to have everything they need to be a big success. But they need help. ANd here comes Lydia Carmichael.

Lydia's life is all about success. She doesn't approve any less from herself. It's go big or go home for her. She's the professionalist so any affairs with the clients are off limits. Until she met Xander before he turned out to be her next client and it may be harder than ever to ingore the magnitude between them. When a person from Xander's past comes back to ruin him and Matty, Lydia will be there to help. Not for the marketing but also to save Xander from himself.

Everytime I read Alyson's books, I feel inspired. You can feel her passion for music and also a deep understanding of troubled people who survived a lot. I can guarantee you one thing though - she'll make you cry like a baby. This book is just... wow! I can't wait for the next book in the series. Truner Artist Rocker is just pure gold.

I really wish I could give this book more stars and no words I can write can quite express just how fantastic this story is. While this is part of a series it is a complete standalone and it is not necessary to read Rising West (but you totally should because it is incredible) to read Falling North. There are a lot of similarities between the two books. Talented men with the world on their shoulders carrying the burden for the people they love, sacrificing themselves. Broken men in need of someone to help take some of the burden. Xander is an incredible character. He kept his brother safe when their parents failed them and pulled them from an incredibly dark life full of bad. He is fiercely loyal and would lay his own life down for him. This is the the second book I’ve read by Alyson Santos and both books have characters that make me want to hug and never let go. Your heart breaks for Xander. I love Lydia for him, she is strong and just as fiercely protective as he is. I really could go on and on but I don’t want to give away the book. As with Rising West this is one of those books that is special. The story is original and fresh with characters that feel real. Both of the books will go onto my all time favorite lists. Just incredible.

I was generously provided with a free advanced copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review**

Falling North was the first book that I've read by Alyson Santos and I absolutely loved every page!

It is such a unique take on a rockstar romance that had me reading well into the early hours of the morning.

The story of Xander Silva and Lydia Carmichael is so gorgeous. I especially loved Lydia's character and how she doesn't take no for an answer.

Xander and his brother Matty grew up in Brazil but moved to the US when they were young. Since then, their lives haven't exactly been easy. Now they are part of an Alternative Rock band called Falling Back North. Xander is the drummer and leader of the group and has such a heavy load on his shoulders that he's struggling to keep them all afloat. When Lydia approaches him one night in a bar after a party, he's well and truly intrigued until he finds out she's the woman his brother has been pining for since meeting her.

Lydia Carmichael holds nothing back when it comes to her career as a marketing director. She's feisty and will fight for what she wants until the very end. When she discovers that the band that she is helping out includes the man who rejected her advances the night before she doesn't know what to do.

The story that follows their meeting will have you experiencing all the feels.

I absolutely loved this unique take on one of my favourite book genres! I can't wait to read more!

I though that Rising West was an amazing read, but it is surpassed by Falling North. This is the story of Xander the sexy Brazilian, older brother and guardian to younger brother Matty since their turbulent childhood, and Lydia, the brilliant marketing strategist who is assigned to help their fledgling band Falling Back North to achieve their potential. Lydia's father owns the label that signed the band so Lydia has something to prove.

Sparks fly between Lydia and Xander when they first meet at an industry event, but as soon as Xander learns who she is he disappears because he knows that his brother Matty is interested in her and he wants his brother to have everything in life even at the expense of his own happiness.

This is a beautiful slow burn romance, Lydia has already fallen for Xander but he is struggling not to fall in love with her and betray his brother. When their past comes back to confront the brothers they work together to overcome the threat and Xander realises that he can finally lay down his burden as his brother can now fend for himself and he is free to love Lydia.

This book is so hard to put down it is an all consuming read that breaks your heart that the brothers had do suffer so much but it is wonderful to see their love for each other and the success that band is having. On a side note, their music really intrigued me, rock with a Brazilian twist, that would be interesting to hear.

Falling North by Alyson Santos
“The poet, 5 stars”

Ugh, Falling North hit me right in the feels. I loved the broody weight of the world on his shoulders Xander. Lynda was awesome but really Xander stole the show for me. I loved the way Santos wrote Falling North and I cannot wait to see what she does next in this series.
Xander is the one who keeps everyone in line in his band. His been making sure his brother is good his whole life. When he finds out the woman, he likes is the same woman his brother is making moon eyes he steps away. He will do anything to make sure his brother is happy. But Lynda doesn’t make it easy. You know what they say about best laid plans. The question is if he goes for the girl will he lose his brother? And what happens when his past comes charging forward threatening them all and everything he’s built?
Plot-5/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 imperfectly perfect rock stars
Alyson Santos, the queen of rockstar romance, I bow down to you. Again!
You’re truly awesome, maybe this is weird to say, but I felt the music in the words, everything described, I actually felt. I’ve never lived the music like this in a story, and for that Alyson Santos, I thank you. I adored the tortured soul that was Xander Silva, he was so pure, so humble, so vulnerable, and the best brother a boy could ask for. That leads me to Matheus, so much stronger than Xander gave him credit for, even when it came to Lydia, who really was the perfect match for that perfect brother. Never believing they could be good enough, or deserving enough to have the dream. Fighting the demons from their past, Emotion, drama and a story that I couldn’t get enough of. Rock star romance at its absolute best. Keep ‘em coming. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Falling North by Alyson Santos is book two in her Turner Artist Rocker Series. Every book is a stand-alone. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is Rising West and tells Mason and Liberty's unputdownable story.
Falling North is Xander and Lydia's book.
Xander is the writer and drummer of Falling Back North, an up and coming new rock band. He and his little brother Matty are band mates, they just signed their first deal and are about to go on tour.
Lydia is a driven young woman who becomes the band's promo person.
The attraction between Xander and Lydia is a sizzling one. Too bad both brothers fall for the same woman.
Falling North is a fantastic read, excellent written. I started reading and hours later had it read cover to cover, in one sitting. I really loved reading Lydia and Xander's fast paced and high on drama story. 4,5 Stars.
