The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is aware the COVID-19 virus is causing massive disruption and strain to the Tourism Industry and to your businesses.

Whilst we appreciate that you have a number of important matters to attend to during these unpredictable times, we ask that you please take the time to update your ATDW listing with a comment in the description advising of:

  • changes to your operation (e.g. if you have a cafe offering take-away options only due to restrictions)
  • if your business is required to close temporarily due to government restrictions (and if you have a proposed date for reopening)

Sadly, if you are permanently no longer in operation, we ask you to please disable your listing.

With 1.2 million page views in the past two weeks on ATDW content, people are very much still looking to future travel. We are optimistic about what’s ahead and want you to feel assured that you have ATDW’s continued support to help market and promote your business with our distributors after the current health crisis has been managed and restrictions are lifted.

In the meantime, ATDW will be adding the following line to each listings description:

“Due to current health advice on social distancing and Australian Government recommendations and restrictions, please contact the business for the most up to date information regarding opening times and services.”

The ATDW team, will be working steadfastly throughout the coming months and will be further enhancing the ATDW-Online platform to ensure that when we get through to the other side of this crisis, the ATDW-Online platform will be in optimal condition to help promote Australian Tourism Businesses and support our industry colleagues in showcasing our amazing tourism offerings once again.
