Community groups and local governments in eligible drought-affected areas of South Australia can apply for event funding under the Connecting Drought Communities – Events Grant.

A total of $330,000 is available to community or industry groups, clubs or associations, or local government, across SA. Events must be held before 15 June 2021, with grants available up to a maximum  of $10,000 for each event. Applications close on 31 March 2021.

Further information, guidelines, and the application form can be found on the PIRSA website: Connecting Drought Communities – Events Grant.

If you are planning an event, please contact either Sondra or Karen (below) who are coordinating an effective program of events across the EP, so there may be opportunity to link you to other organisations/people who can help or add value to your event. They will also provide a point for collaboration, marketing and promotion, and networking, and can provide a confidential service if requested, understanding you may want discretion until you are successful in gaining funding.
