Online Story and Rhyme Times

We know how much our story and rhyme times mean to you so we have created some sessions to access from home.

The following are our regular sessions but we also have other stories posted periodically, available for a variety of ages, which can be found on our YouTube channel. Currently you can listen to The Diary of a Killer Cat by Anne Fine. On Monday, Roald Dahl’s The Witches will be available to listen to. Subscribe to our channel so you don’t miss out!

Our regular sessions:

Monday 2pm:

Tina starts the week with Listen Together, a short story and rhyme session. Along with her friend Mr Roo, Tina will read a book and sing a few rhymes.

This session is pre-recorded and can be accessed through our YouTube channel throughout the week, our new session is available from Monday at 2pm and can be accessed directly through YouTube or through a link on our social media channels.

Tuesday 11am:

Anish presents this session which is filmed live at Central Library at 11am. Each week Anish focusses on a different theme, the session includes a selection of rhymes and stories.

Thursday 11am:

Tina and Mr Roo are back once more with Listen and Do, a longer story, rhyme and activity session. This session includes a suggested activity to do at home.

Sunday 11am:

Debbie rounds the week off with a rhyme time session. Sing along to your favourites or learn a new song. If you look out, you might see one of Debbie’s cats joining in too!
