Lithuania is sending a shipment of humanitarian aid to Belarus to help the neighbouring country combat the coronavirus pandemic, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry said.
In early June, the Lithuanian cabinet allocated 50,000 euros for aid to Belarus in response to Minsk's request for international assistance.
Previously, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko refused Lithuania's support offer.
"During the conversation, the [Belarusian] president just thanked for [the offer], but he did not express a specific wish to receive one or other type of support," said Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda after his phone call with Lukashenko in late April.

The shipment, which is leaving on Tuesday, consists of 16,800 litres of disinfectant liquid and 8,400 disposable robes made in Lithuania.
Belarus has so far reported over 63,000 coronavirus cases and 429 deaths.
