Wild to Love #3

Crazy to Love You

Rate this book
I am meeting this woman for one reason and one reason only. And that officially makes her off-limits.

I want the one woman I cannot have. Again.
The second I lay eyes on Naomi Kent, I know I want her.
And not just for my duet, though her voice is so strikingly beautiful, it can make angels weep.
It’s her mind, her passion, her perfect curvy body. Everything about her sets my blood on fire.
But here’s the thing… I need her to get this song produced.
She needs me to help her regain the life she lost.
So, any chance at an us… Well, that’s a no-go, right?

I don’t want anything Gus Diamond has to offer me.
And that includes his gorgeous face and sexy-as-all-sin body. Well, maybe I do want those.
But this duet? Nope. Not a chance.
I gave up this life when my world shattered and my broken pieces were stomped all over in a very public way. So you can understand why the last thing I want is to relive all that.
But Gus has this way about him.
And before I know what’s happening, I’m saying yes to things I know better than to say yes to.
Including him.
That is until my past decides to make an unexpected return. With one hell of an entrance.

CRAZY TO LOVE YOU is a sexy, fun, and emotional forbidden romance with all the feels! It can be read as a standalone.

I wasn't a fan of Gus in the previous books, so while I suspected that the talented J. Saman could change my mind, the question became would she change my mind because frankly, Gus did some things.  Well, her answer was Crazy to Love You, Gus' story, and it really hit me hard.  I learned that there was more to Gus than meets the eye.  The world sees a hot guy who smiles, but they don't see all of the pain behind it.  Naomi is an amazing singer, but after her heart & her life were ruined by her ex, she gave it up and is barely living whatsoever.  Her pain was truly palpable & I really wanted to slay her dragons in the worst ways.  She is asked to do a duet with Gus, which she wasn't sure that she wanted to do, but there was so much chemistry between them that she couldn't refuse at the end of the day.  Now the emotionally beautiful journey begins for them but it wasn't an easy road.  So, hit those one click buttons to see if they can leave their past behind for a shot at a new amazing future! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I first discovered this author when I read the Wild Minds duet, and I honestly didn't care much about Gus in those books. You could tell that he obviously cared about Vi, and wishes that he could do it all differently, but he knows that Jasper and her are meant to be.. But I just couldn't get past the cheating. That being said, I was completely won over by this amazing man in the first couple of pages. My God, this is not the same man that we met before: this is a man who hides his pain and insecurities behind his bright smile, and just wants to find his epic, true love. He has the biggest heart, and I just want to give this sexy bastard a big hug and never let him go. He's truly one of the best boyfriends i have ever read, and when he loves, he loves hard. Gus is just absolutely everything you want in a man!!

(And seriously, this quote from him is just the best!)

"You are the breath in my lungs and the beat of my heart."

Naomi is determined to never fall in love, especially with another musician after her heart and her entire world was shattered by a man who promised to love her until the end of time. She's not really living, but she's getting through each day the best way she can. She's this amazing singer who has been in music industry her entire life, but ever since her heartbreak she hasn't been in the spotlight.. until her music exec (And friends) along with Gus come to her and ask her to sing a duet with him. She's determined to say no, but as soon as they met, the chemistry between them was undeniable. And them singing together for the first time? That scene was so powerful, I felt like I was watching it in person. I knew immediately that these two together were going to be epic, and gosh damn was I right. The love between these two is absolutely
E V E R Y T H I N G.

"I look into this mans eyes and I see a love that has no limits and does not surrender to time. It's the love I've been searching for my entire life. The one that grounds me. Makes me feel whole and connected and complete." (Excuse me while I go sob my eyes out because of how beautiful this all is😭😭😭)

This book took a turn that i wasn't expecting, but I was glued to my kindle the entire time. Plus those last few chapters GUTTED ME. I refuse to spoil anything, but just know that plenty of tears will be shed. We also get a small POV from Jasper, and even though it was during such a horrible time, I was still just so happy that we got to see what was happening from his perspective.

This amazing author definitely knows how to create flawed characters and make them so relatable that you can't help but root for them, and fall in love with them from the very first page. This is only the third book of hers I've read and I can already tell you that she's one of my absolute favorite authors. I just can't get enough of her words!!!

Trust me when I say this is a MUST read and definitely one of my favorite books I have ever read. Go one click as soon as you can!!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Who knew the other side of the cocky, loose, Gus Diamond could be so sweet, in need of real love and incredibly lonely? You know guy you love to shake your head at? The one who makes you cringe at his antics? The one you know you shouldn’t be intrigued by, but you can’t help it? That was the Gus we have met, but now, we see the rest of the man, the one behind the rockstar façade.

J. Saman made us mistrust him in her previous book and then she peeled back the rocker/manwhore layers and out comes the REAL Gus just in time for him to meet Naomi Kent. Together they will stumble, fall, get up and make their way through the pitfalls of a love that may or may not survive, but not for lack of emotions.

CRAZY TO LOVE YOU pretty much sums up this hugely romantic and tension-filled tale! Sizzling with passions, jagged and raw with angst, pain and deceit, if you have a heart, it is going to beat double-time as two souls brave the pitfalls of a world where plastic people abound and backstabbers thrive!
I received a complimentary ARC edition from J. Saman! This is my honest and voluntary review.

Arc in exchange for an honest review.

I'm so glad I gave this series a chance when first getting into it. There is one thing to say after reading this and Gus' story is one that you do NOT want to miss out on. Honestly, each book in the series just keeps getting better and better, his is my favourite by far at the moment!

I went through the first two books strongly disliking Gus and then only slightly disliking him at the end of the series. But in this book, you do truly get to see what an amazing person he is and how he has grown to be that. Yes he made mistakes when he was younger and was so immature, however he is a different person now - especially in this book. I loved being able to see his relationship with Adalyn it was so cute and I adored it so much.

Naomi was the perfect balance and match for Gus, the Jasper to his Viola. She was the dark to his light. I could not think of a better suited person for Gus than her. I also loved being able to see more of a music aspect focus, we got to see Naomi, a singer, struggle to come back to something that she loves. With the help of Gus and his support, he ends up getting there.

The plot of this book was so good too, that twist at the end surprised me I didn't think it would go that far but damn!

Definitely check out this series and this book when it comes out! I got to see a glimpse of Keith's book at the end and DAMN. I am so excited for that and it's not where near done - I'm already way too impatient, but I'm hooked from the first few paragraphs. It already sounds so mysterious, intense and heartbreaking - my favourite!

Pick this book up when it comes out September 24th and read this series you won't regret it!

Words cannot express how much I loved this story! It so deserves more than five stars. I had hoped Gus would have is own story, and what a story it is! I didn't think it was possible to fall even more in love with Gus's character until I read this story about how he makes a decision and how it affects so many lives. When he meets Naomi, there is an instant attraction, but he also knows he needs to keep his distance. They may be working together, but with his past and her past, if they got together, it could be a recipe for disaster, or could it? The chemistry these two have, not only professionally, but emotionally is unreal. I could feel it down to my very heart and soul.

Naomi is an incredible character. She has been through so much in her life, yet she continues to persevere, but is she really living? Can she get over the heartache of her past and move on? When she meets Gus, she didn't expect the whirlwind of emotions that she felt and wasn't sure how to handle that. I can't even tell you how much I love Gus. He is so alpha, so caring, so perfect, he just needs the right woman in his life. Can Naomi be that woman?

After reading this amazing story, my heart is so full. These two characters are ingrained into my heart and I didn't want the story to end. I loved everything about this book, from the plot, to the characters and everything in between. Do yourself a favor, and read this story. You need it in your life!

This story pulled me in from the start! Naomi and Gus were two dark lonely souls trying to find their place! Their journey was emotional and so dang beautiful! Their connection instant and without warning their walls tumbled!

I love a book that just consumes you long after the last word is read and that’s what this story does to you; it consumes you completely!

This is my first book by this author and it will not be the last! I thoroughly enjoyed the blossoming relationship that these two had and getting to experience it all was just amazing! Their chemistry is HOTTTT! Their banter had me laughing but most of all it was how well they bonded and connected about music and life that just sucked me in!

It is no secret that I'm a huge J. Saman fan, because she delivers. Every. Single. Time.
And this book is no exception.
In books 1 & 2 Gus was painted with a less than flattering brush, but even so I desparately wanted to get to know him better and see him find his HEA. And I was not disappointed. He might actually be my new favourite in this series, the type of person I'd actually want to know in real life. Naomi was his perfect match and I loved how strong she is. There is angst, longing and passion in spades.
People like to use the phrase "all the feels" and even though it's accurate, it doesn't begin to describe what you will experience reading Crazy to Love You. It's Romance at its best.

I have been dying to read Gus's story since meeting him in Love to Hate Her/Hate to Love Him. I loved him and hated him for everything he put Viola and Jasper through. His story did not disappoint. It was everything I hoped for and more!! It all starts out with a song. A song he finally writes to get over Viola. A song that needed to be written. Honestly I wish I could hear the final version of that song because from the sound of it it would be heartbreakingly amazing!

Naomi comes into the picture as the person everyone thinks Gus should write this song with. She has so much heart break in her life that I felt so strongly for her. I loved her character, especially how she was when she meets Adalyn. However she really pissed me off closer to the end with how she just so easily believed her **@$ of an ex. And forgive me for saying this but I really would have loved to smack her parents for them being okay with their young teenage daughter dating (and seemingly being dictated) by a man 9 years older than her!! I wish I could have jumped into this book, become great friends with Naomi, and made her see how easily Florian was trying to manipulate her.

I loved Gus and Naomi together. I loved how good he was for her, how much strength he gave her. I loved how deeply Gus loved Naomi and how he was willing to fight for her. I also love the relationship/bond between Jasper, Gus, and Viola. It was wonderful seeing how much love they have for each other, especially through Naomi's eyes. Oh and Jasper's chapter!! His words for Naomi. Sigh... Ms. Saman has once again blown me away with the men from Wind Minds and the women who take them to their knees. I'm so glad I took a chance on Gus!! Now I'm intrigued with Keith's story!! *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

It was a beautiful story of two heartbroken musicians who found comfort working together. I loved the writing style, which took me on a ride of emotions. I want to read another book from this author.

“Two lost, broken, scarred souls who found one another at the most perfect of moments.”

I didn’t have the highest opinion of Gus after reading the first two books so I was unsure how I’d feel about this book even though J. Saman has never disappointed. Well...she did it again! I should have know I’d somehow fall head over heels, no less with a character that was already in the negative column before I even started the book!
Gus ended up taking every unkind thought I had about him and turning me into a huge fan of his! He was sexy and caring, but honest and open. His love for Ady made my heart swell!
Naomi has had a painful, tragic past. She’s locked her heart up tight. It broke my heart everything that she had endured. Florian is a waste of space. He was so brutal!
The chemistry between Naomi and Gus is explosive! I loved how they opened up to each other. This story gave me ALL THE FEELS and then some!
I can’t wait to read Keith’s book!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I’m been looking forward to reading Gus’s book, since I finished Jasper and Viola’s last book. I wasn’t disappointed with this fantastic story about Gus and Naomi. I still love little Ady, Jasper’s precious daughter. Naomi and Gus meet when Gus writes a song and needs someone to sing it with him. Gus and Naomi are attracted to each other, but Naomi had her heart crushed by her ex and she’s not looking to repeat that experience. As they grow closer, Naomi’s walls come down. Then Florian returns wanting her back. I’m not going to leave any spoilers, but I highly recommend this amazing read. Grab your copy and see if fall in love with Gus like I did.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

What a totally unexpected and exciting finale to the Wild Love series. When Gus writes a song that about letting Vi go, he realises that it should be a duet. His record company introduces him to Naomi and her incredible voice and suddenly Gus finds that every thing he has believed is turned on it's head. He has been an unlikable player through books one and two of the series so it was good to see him finally meet the woman who would tame him as he fell quickly and hard.

Naomi has been in the spotlight since she was a child but has been in the shadows for the past few years following a very public breakup and humiliation by her last boyfriend. She has totally sworn off of love that's until she meets Gus and is reluctant to put herself back out in the public eye by doing this duet.

Wow we get supercharged chemistry between these two from the moment they meet and there was no doubt that this would be an amazing love story, but it was also a story of renewal and redemption. We get to see the true Gus in this book, no pretenses and no feelings hidden as he tries to gently bring Naomi out of her darkness and give her back her confidence. These two had so much suffering to overcome but they did it so well and together. Who knew that Gus would be an amazing uncle to Ady. It was wonderful to see Jasper and Vi as well as Gus and Naomi find their peace together and move forward into their new life. Beautifully written with enthralling characters and an unexpected plot. Definitely a must read.

"She's like fire and all available oxygen in the room flocks to her. Desperate to be as close to the source as possible. I'm starting to figure out that I'm no different in that."

Where do I begin? Well, for starters, I'm Crazy in Love with Crazy to Love You!!! Wow, this one just blew me away. Truthfully, after finishing Hate to Love Him, I didn't think anyone could replace Jasper Diamond. I was so wrong! I didn't think that Gus and his womanizing ways would make a believer out of me, but Ms. Saman proved me wrong, once again! No one can pen a Contemporary romance quite like she can. Bravo!

Crazy to Love you is a beautifully written story with amazing characters, all the feels, and the many doubts and fears we face on a daily basis. I give this one FIVE Amazing stars!!! *****

This is the book I've been waiting for ever since finishing the Wild Minds duet! From the turn of the final page I was captivated by Gus and found this story an utter delight! Though the overall storyline is familiar, in the very talented hands of Ms. Saman this romance became one of epic proportions. It also presented me with another addition to my list of book boyfriends courtesy of the sweet and sexy Gus. Add in the vulnerable Naomi with a heart of gold and you get to see the power of love in action.

What readers have seen in the past of Gus has been the fun-loving, bigger than life rockstar, who's quick with a smile and a smirk. Throughout past books layers have been slowly revealing someone else though, someone who wants to find his own HEA, someone a bit melancholy over ruining the chance he had with Viola (even though he knew she and Jasper were meant to be). He's older and wiser now and has written a song that's the first step in moving on...which brings him to rock singer Naomi. Their connection is instant and combustible, it has Gus showing a caring and supportive side, and their journey captivated me from that very first moment. Gus was a wonderful hero, just what Naomi needed after the emotional beating she took from her ex and from her career. Through each word and deed, each lyric, he showed his support and it endeared him to me even more.

Naomi Kent was once soaring high in the rockstar world...until her ex took the joy of music away from her through his betrayal. Since then she's just been going through the motions, going through each day on repeat but longing deep inside to find her way back. Gus is just the man to help her do that too and it made for an emotionally intense journey full of heart wrenching and loving moments that kept me glued to the pages. Naomi is a very likable heroine with a good heart and a real love of music that shone through. It was that love of music that made for a solid foundation between the two and had them making beautiful music together both in the studio and in the bedroom.

This romance was heavy on the emotions, full of twists and turns that kept my emotions in turmoil. Gus has evolved through each book, become the man we always hoped he'd be after seeing a few tempting tidbits of his caring side. His relationship with Ady was an especially heartwarming connection that showed that caring side and I loved seeing it continue here. Naomi's been through a lot and I ached for how much hurt her ex visited on her as he stole the joy of music from her. It was a slow and steady journey to get that joy back but Gus was there when she needed support most in empowering interactions. The harsh light of fame shone on this couple throughout the story as well and created extra issues for them that amped up the angst. It all wrapped up in an engaging ending that has me excited for the next book, a book where Keith takes center stage.

Dear Gus, I am so sorry that I misjudged you and underestimated the way you would be able to work your way into my heart and make me see you are so much more. With a heart of gold and an honesty that can never be hidden I fell hard, fast, and deeply in love with you. You prove how amazing you are every time you are with Ady and with all the love/adoration you give her. That love and adoration shows you have plenty to give for the love of your life. For all that I owe you a sincere apology because not only did you prove your worth to me and redeem yourself, but you made me fall madly in love with you. Gus you are worthy! Love, One Happy and In Love Reader.
I knew from Jasper and Viola’s stories that Gus was so much more than what he portrayed, yet I knew he would have to do some things to redeem the bad he had done, but who couldn’t help and fall for him when he showed so much love and adoration towards his niece? I did underestimate how much he would have me falling for him and how much he would show me he was so much more than what I originally thought. He is out for redemption of himself and determined to find the one person he is meant to be with. Gus knows he has a lot he needs to make up for and he still feels like Viola’s forgiveness is not enough that he should do more, what he doesn’t realize is everyone loves him and would do anything for him. Hurting and wanting to find happiness he doesn’t see that sometimes it is right in front of us and we don’t see it until it smacks us in the face. Struggling to find forgiveness and move forward he meets Naomi who is struggling to live the life she deserves. Naomi has grown up in the spotlight with famous parents and a career of her own that she thrived in, but she is now only remembered as the girl that was dumped nationally and publicly by her ex at the Grammys. She has a lot of hurt, regret, and resentment that she bottles up and puts on her ‘public happy face” for yet no one sees the betrayal she hides, except Gus sees it all. The chemistry and attraction between these two are off the charts but they both have their reasons for treading lightly and trying not to cross any lines. After trying and unsuccessfully fighting their attraction it becomes too much and impossible to let each other go. Yet can they find their happiness together or will their pasts become too much and come back to haunt them? This series is beyond amazing that takes the readers on an emotional journey with characters that are impossible not to fall in love with. I have enjoyed ever book so far and looking forward to more of the band members stories.

When it comes to those he loves Gus has made some big mistakes in the past that had painful consequences and now that things have turned out the way they were destined to he is now the one in pain and trying to heal from the past. His chosen therapy was to create a song that is sure to resonant with anyone who listens and now he just needs the perfect voice to sing it with him.

Naomi has a painful past of her own and she has the emotional scars to prove it. She has been struggling both personally and professionally so even though she has her doubts she agrees but she isn’t about to let any man get close enough to hurt her again.

There is so much more to Gus than first appears and once we see the compassionate and caring man is enough to make you swoon. Due to her past Naomi is cautious but by word and deed Gus shows her that she can trust him with her heart and her love. Their journey is filled with emotion and definitely had its obstacles but in each other they find exactly what they need in their life.

I’ve been looking forward to Gus since the Wild Minds Duet.

Gus has the biggest heart ever and in this book, you get a full glimpse of him and the love he has for everyone. Naomi has been struggling for the past couple of years and she finally may have finally found someone who accepts her for who she is, she just has to be ready to take the leap.

I found this story to be Instant love. As soon as Gus meets Naomi he’s instantly smitten with her. They both have internal issues they need to overcome to cure their scarred hearts but they find each other at the right moment of their lives.

Loved this book, this talented author and her beautifully portrayed characters in this band's long and complicated story. Jasper's hard won dream was finally realized in the first two books which almost broke me and now his brother, Gus, is finally in the spotlight this time. Naomi is turning out to be the woman he didn't know he'd been waiting for, perfect for him, made for each other. So much factors into their attraction- the shared love of music and their very public pasts where their hearts became so broken for the world to see. Is there any coming back from that... can they let themselves heal their souls, together?

The entire band family's continuing story, so far, was filled with everything I enjoy most in my romances. I am all in with these sexy, funny, deep feeling rockstars who always have each others backs with a lifetime of friendship and love for each other between them. Every book had such heart and emotion along with playful interactions mixing with the drama to balance out the stories. Each one was such a pleasure to read and I couldn't have enjoyed this series more!

We met Gus in the last two books and I know he didn't make the best impression but I knew that if he found the right girl it would blow his mind! This book was an emotional roller coaster for Gus and Naomi(and me). But that is what made them perfect for each other! And what made this book so awesome to read!! Then after you think you can't handle anymore you get a sneak peek at Keith's book, I can't wait!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I LOVE GUS!! He's such a wonderful, tender guy! Finally, we know his side of the story, why he is the way he is in JAsper and Viola's story. You can't help but fall in love with him. And Naomi, my heartache for her and throughout I just want what's best for her. Gus is exactly that for her.

I absolutely loved Naomi and Gus’s book! Such a beautiful one!

This book made me totally change my thoughts about Gus for the better, I adored this Gus! Gus wants to do a duet with Naomi who has removed herself from the spotlight due to her heartbreak and is determined to say no until she meets Gus and he basically sucks the oxygen out of the room but she isn’t prepared to give up more then her voice.

Absolutely LOVED this

Just rip my heart out already, why don't you? If you'd asked me early on in the Wild Minds duet, I would've told you that I didn't want Gus' story. I don't like cheaters, I don't want to read about cheaters, and his actions were the catalyst for that whole story. But there's so much more to it than that. Gus has had time to process his actions, realize exactly what he missed out on, and now knows with certainty that he never wants to feel that way again. So now that Gus is finally ready to move on from that relationship and open his heart up again, it makes him a completely different man.

This story is the kind that will have you immersed from the first page, caught up in the serious chemistry between these characters and wanting to peel back the layers some more. Both our hero and heroine have gone through so much to make them the people they are today (definitely some triggers in their history). This love story is all about finding the right person at the right time in your life. Gus and Naomi connect because their jagged edges fit together, and the story is emotional, intense, sexy, engrossing - while still having plenty of lightness in between. Saman seamlessly transitioned this antihero into a hero in his own right, and he's actually one of the best I've read in a long, long time.

Essentially, the story follows Gus as he gets over the former love of his life. She's found happiness and now it's his turn to move on. While reading the Wild Minds duet prior to this is in no way necessary, it will greatly enhance the reading experience. There, we're introduced to Gus and the complexities of his character, which gives this book so much more depth. Add in a beautifully broken heroine, and these two musicians make for an incredible pairing. As they work on a duet that begins the healing process for them both, Gus and Naomi fight their attraction while falling deeper each day.

It's devourable, engaging, and the perfect followup to one of the best love stories I've read all year. I had incredibly high expectations for this and it did not disappoint - Saman never does. Those who have come to know Gus throughout the series will love to see his redemption, and it makes this romance that much more fulfilling. This author has such a way with building intimacy, and that's the focus here, showcasing the connection between these two. In case you couldn't tell, I loved it. I cannot wait to read more from the series and see what trouble Gus' bandmates get into when they fall themselves.

This is it. My unicorn read for the sh*t show we all know as 2020. Maybe it’s because I had come to know and love these characters from Jasper and Vi's book. Because they were already so ingrained in my heart that I was comfortably familiar with their messy emotions, their baggage, scars and flaws. I knew Gus's story would be a doozy, but I never could have imagined this.

For all of his life, Gus has been in love with Violet, who was best friends with the Diamond twins growing up. Sure, Gus knew his brother Jasper was in love with Vi, but he was a selfish pig and kept her to himself all through high school. Until somehow, he came to his senses once Vi joined the band on tour to take care of Jasper's special needs daughter, Ady. Gus finally saw what everyone else could see, that Vi and Jasper belonged together, and Gus stepped aside.

Now, he's finally ready to move on after pouring out his feelings into a song. But the song is one that only Gus can sing, and it needs a female counterpart. Their record executive has the perfect woman for the job, Naomi Kent. Naomi has lived through her own heartbreak at the hands of a heroin-loving musician, and this duet with Gus may just be the final catharsis she needs to finally, firmly close the door on the past. She's done dating musicians, and Gus isn’t a forever kind of guy, so no matter the chemistry they have in the recording studio, they both vow to keep things strictly professional.

Truthfully, I was decidedly unimpressed when it came to Gus, but in no time at all this sneaky, smirking hero weaseled his way into my heart without my permission. He's the consummate player and he did some lousy things to Jasper and Vi, but as the layers are peeled back and we see his vulnerability and fears, along with his heart of gold and inspiring personal growth, what’s a girl to do? I couldn’t help swooning all over myself.

Gus and Naomi are so amazing together and I was spellbound as I watched them each work through their fears and insecurities and navigate the roadblocks and turns on their journey to forever. If you haven’t yet met the guys from the wildly popular Wild Minds, this is the perfect place to start. I’ll warn you though. One book will never be enough, especially when the adorable Ady wraps you around her little finger along with the rest of the band members.

If it’s any indication how much I love this book, I have over fifty highlights! That’s a lot for me, but the words are so poetic, poignant, and beautiful, and I couldn’t get enough. Yes, there are laughs and steam, but it's the heartstring workout that makes this an unforgettable read. The epic love in this book, in all of its forms, is what we all want in our own lives, and the reminder that love is in the small things – a glance, a touch, a smile – is arrestingly breathtaking. Exquisite, enchanting, and unparalleled, this is one you’ll want to start reading immediately, so run to the 1-Click now!

Naomi swore off rockstars, off performing live, a long time ago. And then Gus strolls into her life with a plea to perform a duet with him. He challenges her, gets under her skin and she has to say yes. But is she saying yes to more?

I have to admit in the Wild Minds Duet I really, really did not like Gus. But here in his own story, I fell in love with him. Here, he grows and strengthens, especially once he falls for Naomi. Speaking of Naomi, I LOVE, LOVE her! She is amazing - a survivor with the emotional strength that comes with adversity. She and Gus are fire together - intense and passionate with chemistry I could feel seeping through my Kindle. Theirs is a story I will not soon forget.

Gus Diamond is nursing the worst kind of broken heart, losing the love of his life to his brother and watching them move on with their happily ever after is crushing. But as much as it hurts him he knows they were meant for one another, and he needs to close that chapter on his life. So he sits down to write a song and pour his feelings out in it's words, and he creates something beautiful, something he can't sing on his own. His manager suggests he do it as a duet and she has the perfect woman in mind for the job.

The moment he meets this beautiful songstress he knows he is in trouble she has the voice of an angel, the body of a goddess, and a wounded heart that needs mending. And he seems to think he is the perfect candidate to heal it... she on the other hand has her reservations about him.

She doesn't date musician's anymore... or does she?

Crazy to Love You is a melodically infused love story with all the perfect notes to leave you singing it's praises. It's perfectly penned words are bound to steal your attention, and it's characters will leave a mark on your heart. This wasn't a quick fall, no these two love birds had lots of old wounds and past hurts to mend before they could let the other in. Naomi wasn't willing to give her heart to another musician, after her last bout with one, but somehow Gus found a way to take it anyhow. There was a lot of push and pull between the pages of this one, and a lot of heartstring tugging drama. Seeing Gus take a leap of his own and find his way after such heartbreak was uplifting, Naomi was his perfect match, the light to all his darkness, and he to hers. This union brought passion, hope, love, steam, and tons of feels to the pages... they had my emotions in complete disarray the whole way through. It was the perfect little escape! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Crazy to Love You is about Naomi Kent and Gus Diamond. Gus writes a song to have a closure with his relationship with Viola, who is now his twin brother's wife. He wants his brother to sing this song, but he says no. He has to sing this song by himself and he even suggests to sing this song as a duet. He goes to his record label and hise good friend Lyric Rose has the perfect match for him. Little does he know that she would be perfect for him in more ways that he can even imagine.

The second Gus lays his eyes on Naomi he knows he wants her and they have an instant connection which they cannot ignore.

He needs her to sing this duet with him. The only problem is she isn’t in the business anymore. As the daughter of two famous musicians she was always in the spotlight. At the age of 15 she was a well known musician by herself. Two years ago she gave up this life when she broke up with her fiance who also humiliated her in public.

By some miracle she says yes to the duet. But can they be only duet partners to each other?

Crazy to Love You is my first read of J. Saman and I must say I don’t know why I waited so long! You can read this book as standalone (as I did), but I wanted to kick my ass why I haven’t read the other ones before. In previous books you get to know one of the main characters. The story is so emotional which I didn’t expect and I love the development of the relationship between them. And can I say how adorable Gus is with his niece Adalyn?! SWOON!

Definitely a must read for me!

My heart broke for Gus in the Wild Minds duet, so I was so excited to find out that he was getting his story. Gus, my heart breaks for him, but I want him to be happy and find what his twin brother has.

Gus needs to say goodbye to Vi and he does it with a song, however, his brother won’t sing it (no surprise there). He needs to find someone who will duet it with him and his record label has the perfect woman for it, but getting her to agree is going to be the difficult part as she doesn’t do that anymore. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Naomi. She grew up in the music industry. Her mother was a pop star and her father also a famous musician. She has a natural talent when it comes to writing music herself. Her life from a young age was full of tragedy and it caused her to put up so many walls to protect not only her heart, but herself as a person. She is a strong person for overcoming everything in her life and you can’t help but love her for it.

You could feel chemistry, the instant connection from the very first moment that Gus and Naomi met. That connection just continued to grow as the story progressed. I fell more and more in love with both of these characters and wanted them to find their happily ever after because they both deserved it more than anything in the world.

Their relationship wasn’t easy. It was full of so many ups and downs and at times it broke my heart. This story is beautiful, it’s emotional, it’s forbidden, it’s going to break your heart and it’s going to mend that broken heart. Crazy to Love You is a MUST READ!

I’ve been impatiently waiting to get my hands on Gus’ book and it was everything I was hoping it would be.

Gus was so much more lovable than I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong I really liked Gus but after reading his story, I’m mad about the guy now. Trying to work through his feelings has him writing a song and needing a partner to do his song justice. Knowing Gus’ history it makes sense that the one woman who would be perfect for his duet is also one he needs to stay well away from before history repeats itself. Naomi left the spotlight behind for a reason and she’s still traumatised from how things played out. The last thing she wants to do is work with a musician that makes her feel things. She’s not ready to put herself out there yet.

I loved both these characters. They’ve both had different life experiences that they’re trying to deal with but they’re so good together I was desperate for them to get their HEA. If two characters deserve to be happy it’s these two. Both Gus and Naomi are beaten down but by no means broken and I loved seeing them heal and start picking up the pieces. This is a great book, I can’t recommend it enough.

I have waited with bated breath on Gus getting to tell his story and this did not disappoint at all. Gus has locked down his heart and emotions but one meeting with Naomi brings possibilities. Gus loved and lost the love of his life or so he believes. I was never on board with that belief, Viola was his first love yes and I do believe he loved her but he wasn't in love with her and I was just waiting for him to come to that realisation. From the start you can tell Naomi is such a beautiful soul inside and out. I liked that we discovered all of Naomi's heartache and reasons for her withdrawal from public life slowly. The story is fun romantic and emotional and really is a rollercoaster ride. I loved the way their first meeting was written I could picture the look on Gus's face so clearly. Their banter was teasing flirty foreplay that had me dying for their first kiss. If ever a couple deserve a HEA it is Gus and Naomi and I was willing them on every step of the way. I would recommend this book in a heartbeat.
