Black Reformist Movement

Donation protected

BRM is a movement that redirects and
channels energy into:

Immediate, Realistic, Tangible change
for Black equality and justice in the UK !

Though campaigning,
the Black Reformist Movement will
support, champion and advocate on
behalf of all those who are committed to black equality and tackling
Institutionalised Racism in the UK.

Institutionalised Racism is a form of
racism that is embedded in normal
practices within institutions and
organisations, this results in strategies,
policies and procedures being designed
to disadvantage and discriminate against the Black community.

BRM believes and stands by two key
principles:

1. Combatting Institutionalised Racism
2. Black empowerment and Growth

Only then we can truly thrive as a nation!

BRM aims to work across sectors in a
collaborative and constructive way, to
ensure that organisations can be helped to implement strategies, procedures and policies that combat Institutionalised
Racism, by using our 4 pillars of change:

Accountability
Transparency
Prevention
Inclusion

We are aiming to raise funds to:

Support the development of our website which will include a cross sector
best practice knowledge hub

Support the development of resource
and learning packs focused on
Institutionalised racism.

Support the development of training and bespoke career development
workshops/coaching for black staff.

Development of School based race
related PSHE workshops.

Support Grassroots race related
activities and events in different
communities.

Development of
Performing Arts/ Culture and Diversity
