We, the American Friends of Likud, congratulate Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump and Crown Prince Sheikh Muhammed Bin Zayed of the United Arab Emirates, for achieving this historic peace treaty between Israel and the UAE. We hope this normalization of economic and diplomatic relations between Israel and one of its prominent Arab neighbors serves as a spark for similar achievements that will have a positive effect for the region, the US and globally.
We also want to take the opportunity to recognize and thank everyone who participated in this momentous event and specifically, US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Ambassador Aryeh Lightstone, whose tireless efforts in this regard have made this historic accord possible.
