The book had an excellent plot that heldmy attention The character development was excellent , but the juvenile writing distracted froma five star rating With the sex scenes in this novel,a more mature writing style was required, not the sniveling simpering of the heroine who sacrifices herself in every scenario.

This is one of those " keepers ", if you put it down , you're immediately drawn back.into the story . This is a true love story of the finest quality, written by a true romantic ! The main characters are Anna and Charles Haverstock .I'm not going to give away the story , but she tricks him into marriage , thinking she is helping her country unveil a traitor.

A decent novel about a wise and generous lady and her devoted husband; however, a lack of communication causes some of their problems!
