Fender washers are commonly used in automotive, plumbing, and electrical projects. The zinc-plated finish on this hardware helps to resist corrosion. The diameter of washer is the size bolt that you should use. (For example, a 1/4 washer fits a 1/4 bolt.)

No cat? Mount a basket where you need on-the-spot storage: cozy throws next to the sofa, stuffed animals by a kid's bed, rolled towels in the guest bath.

What You'll Need

Materials

Basket (Pictured: Room & Board Bangla Storage Basket, 16", in Natural)
Drill
Fender washers (Pictured: The Rivet Gallery Stainless Steel Fender Washers, 1⁄4" by 1")
Screws, 1/4 inch

Instructions

Align two fender washers and screws into the bottom end of a sturdy basket. Drill, securing basket into the wall. (Tip: Using extra-large washers will help distribute her weight and limit wear and tear on the fibers.)
Add a snug blanket. She just may deign to thank you.
