BROOKLYN (JTA/VINnews) — At least four pro-Trump rallies were organized in Orthodox Jewish communities across the New York area today. In the more Modern Orthodox communities in Long Island’s Five Towns, in Brooklyn Marine Park, in Rockland County’s Monsey, and in a number of Brooklyn neighborhoods in a car parade, Orthodox fans of the president organized a major show of support in the final stretch of the campaign.

The rallying initially started Sunday morning in Brooklyn. Vehicles participating in the rally departed Sunday morning from Coney Island Ave, headed down Ocean Parkway towards Trump Tower, with plans to meet up with a Boro Park group at Fort Hamilton and McDonald Ave.
Dozens of vehicles were seen driving through the streets of Flatbush, many of waving Trump flags, and blasting pro-Trump music.
From Boro Park, both groups met up with a Monsey group at Bay Pkwy and McDonald Ave.
At 5:00 PM, all groups gathered in Marine Park for the main rally event and speeches.
Video from the scene showed huge crowds of Orthodox Jews waving Trump flags and cheering for President Trump.

It’s a very nice gesture but ultimately useless. Jews are a tiny part of the American electorate and Orthodox Jews are a small percentage of American Jewry. New York almost always goes Democratic. It is more like a big “thank you” to Trump for being a solid friend of Israel, completely the opposite of the guy before him.
What a show of support by thousands who have tuned out the machers and critics and control personnel.

At the Trump “Jewish” rally they proudly play YMCA. Signing the songs of a Christian organization is quite appropriate for those that have allowed evangelical Christian values to seep into a Torah true community. The religion of Trumpism is based on Judeo-Christian values and believes that Trump is a form of deity that can do no evil.
