Yes I'm in LOVE with Suds and Sam. I don't think I've laughed so much and even had a tear a time or two. Great storyline with great characters.

My oh my, I keep thinking "Stella, that was the best yet" and then the next one I read proves me wrong!

Ms. Alden's stories are superb, bust a gut laughing, a little bit of suspense... a few cracked relatives, and hot sex scenes, it's spectacular.

    I couldn't put down this series! Suds (the guy) and Sam (the gal) are so realistic, relatable and engaging that I loved them more and more with each book. They come from such different life experiences that their relationship struggles are perfectly natural, and beautifully realistic. I was rooting for their happiness all the way through the four books, while enjoying the humor of their lives and the quirky realism of the other people in their lives.
    These books are like Stephanie Plum novels written at a deep, gritty level.
    I highly, highly recommend them!

    What a fantastic couple! Suds, a former Navy Seal with Southern charm and Sam, a firecracker from Brooklyn with a mob family are a perfect pair. Loved these first 4 books of their continuing story. Stella is a phenomenal writer and I can't wait to continue this series as well as reading her other books.

    This is awesome, having the first four books in this series all together. Sam (Samantha) is an awesome strong female lead character. Sebastian is a great character too, he is strong and loyal, and the whole series is incredibly entertaining.

    I really enjoyed these books and I’m looking forward to the next escapade of the fledgling Private Detectives!
    Both characters are well rounded and likeable though I did want to bash their heads together a few times!
    The chemistry between them could set fire to your kindle but as you’re made aware very early on that they’re madly in love with each other the many (lucky them) steamy moments don’t feel too gratuitous.
    I would recommend if you want a lighthearted, sexy and in places genuinely roll your eyes funny read. :)
