POSTPONED UNTIL MARCH 2021 due to Health............Our Kids Online – but are they secure?

Recently, community members were treated to a presentation by Richie Hardcore giving a frank account of the awkward topics - consent, sexuality, and pornography. Feedback from attendees strongly indicated they wanted more.
• More to understand the harms our kids are facing online in relation to pornography, predators & social media access.
• More to learn practical solutions to keep our children safer online and
• More about what to do when our children have been exposed to something harmful.

Our community is treated once again. Join Rob and Zareen Cope’s ‘Our kids Online’ evening presentation to gain advice on healthy ways to approach these tricky topics and design an online safety plan tailored to suit your family's needs.

Rob and Zareen are a husband and wife team with four children between them. While navigating the pros and cons of handheld devices in the current digital climate, they decided to start making documentaries and provide resources after discovering what children are accessing and the effects on emotional and physical wellbeing.
They provide recommended practical solutions to help keep children safer online and come highly recommended from schools and community groups throughout New Zealand. Whether you are a parent, whanau, educator, or a health provider – this evening will offer something valuable for all. Our kids online – but are they secure?

Hosted by Wanaka Alcohol Group in partnership with Mt. Aspiring College, Kahu Youth, Community Networks, and QLDC. Refreshments provided.
