As of Monday morning, December 28, 2020, the Mecklenburg County Public Health Department had received one tray of 975 doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Those receiving this initial administration of the vaccine included paramedics/EMTs, staff from long-term care facilities, staff of county testing partners, and public health staff.
This week's data update shows 61,302 cases and 552 deaths due to COVID-19 in Mecklenburg County.
