As we approach the end of a year marked by the serious consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic health crisis, we reflect on our human condition, our interpersonal relationships and our relationship with the environment. Furthermore, this year has been an opportunity to act and live in solidarity as brothers and sisters.

Hope in humanity does not die, “because human beings, capable of degrading themselves to the extreme, can also overcome, return to opt for the good and regenerate, beyond all the mental and social conditioning imposed on them” (Laudato Si ‘n.205). The world can change to the extent that each person becomes aware and opts for a new lifestyle: more supportive, more fraternal and more just.

From the JPIC Office of the Franciscan Order we send warm greetings of peace and renew our commitment to the values of justice, peace and the care for our common home for 2021. At the same time we want to share and invite you to participate in our Christmas activities 2020:
