Misconduct (FSCU Pitbulls Book 1) Kindle Edition
Until her, there was only one thing in my life, football.
Ryan
When we turned down the covers, we both agreed, one and done. I never expected we wouldn't remain friends. Worse, that I'd fall for her.
She's a journalism major with more brains than street smarts and now she's hell-bent on going after some slime-ball who tried to roofie her. She doesn't want my help but I'll be d@mned if I'll let her get hurt.
Note: This story contains heated scenes, gritty reality, no cheating, and a hard-won-happily-ever-after.
Look for cameo appearances from some of your favorite characters from 'Patten Securites' and 'Busted Play'!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2021Ryan is an NFL top hopeful and trying to graduate from college unfortunate for him he meets Kira who is a Journalist major when they get together sparks fly but he knows he cannot allow her to interrupt his future as an NFL draft pick. He asks her to a party and things go wrong for his friend and Kira and something awful almost happens to her, Ryan rescues her and they find that something happened at the party. They become closer but things go up in smoke. Kira finds that she has a story to tell and one of the culprits is someone taking advantage of young women and she plans it is not as easy as she thought. A very interesting and inspiring storyline and the characters are very touching. Drama, suspense, mystery, violence, and love. I purchased and read this book. I volunteered an honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2019Misconduct by Stella Marie Alden is a really exciting young love romance with lots of emotions and drama. For me, the characters make this book special. Ryan is part goofball, serious athlete and lothario. Until he chances upon meeting Kira, the sweetheart knockout and serious journalism student. As they are young, there’s lots of drama to ensue not to mention a bit of danger/suspense. Emotions run as high and hot as their steamy chemistry. These two will endear as much as frustrate as they navigate building their connection and relationship.
Overall, I loved this book because of its awesome characters and the plot kept me completely engaged from the beginning to the last word.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2019Misconduct is very well written sports story. The characters are well developed and believable! The only thing I would question is the knowledge the writer has of football, she was confused about the point after touchdown! It is one not two points! Otherwise I don't know if any college player who has a personal aid! Pretty sure the NCAA would frown upon that!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2020Once I managed to get my family to let me focus, I was pulled in. And it wasn’t just quick, it was cute (in a quirky way) and good. I’m adding the other books referenced to my wishlist for future purchase, because the even the side characters made an impression and I want more. I wasn’t expecting it, it seems like I almost never want to know about everyone else, but this is one of those rare ones that leaves me satisfied with the story and yet wanting more.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2019Well I really think the premise was there. The delivery was a disaster. From editing issues (and there were way too many to list!), to missed details all over, to POV screwups, and definitely dragging on and and on! I think there really is a great basis here but I struggled to finish. I skimmed a lot only to find i barely missed a beat. She called it 'making love' long before they were in love. Timeline jumped way to much at the end. He started in the NFL and literally in the same paragraph skipped ahead to them in the superbowl? Then in other parts it just dragged out so much I got completely bored. I think with MAJOR editing and some trimming of things it would be much better. I also felt the whole situation with Ryan's parent got really blown up only to show absolutely no resolution whatsoever. I read CJ's story and felt it was better than this. I am definitely not bothering reading Jackson's story.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2019Kira, a journalism major, is rudely introduced to Ryan, starting college quarterback, when she attempts to interview him for an article. As the story progresses they come to an agreement, outside events and the past interferes, and determining what is important is the only way to find a HEA. Stella Marie Alden’s Misconduct is a great start to the FSCU Pitbulls series. I was so engrossed in her realistic writing style that I had to go purchase the Busted Play box set and the Patten Bodyguards series box set to get the low down on some of the supporting characters.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2020What can a girl ask for in a book? Hot guys with a great sense of humor and FOOTBALL! I love the intensity of the writer's need to get a detailed story and depth from the college football star instead of just the fluff pieces that most writers due in real life. She wanted it all, but found a lot of herself in the process. Great writing amd character development. Can't wait to read more...😊
- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2019I really enjoyed this story. It talked about a sensitive subject and I really liked how it was handled. I was left with some questions. What happened to knight? And the court case? What happened? I was a little disappointed it didn’t say anything about her career either.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Brilliant Book from Author Stella Marie Alden
Kira wants to be a journalist and after being involved in an incident at a student party she starts to investigate how often this type of incident is occurring. She really likes Ryan who is on the football team and although Ryan likes Kira he only does 'one and done' as he is focused on getting an NFL placement. But as Kira digs deeper it causes her problems with the young wealthy male student at the centre of her investigation and the college who gets funding from his parents. Both Kira and Ryan find that they are very much attracted to each other and the one and done rule gets thrown out. A really good story full of love and drama. It was also great meeting up again with some of my favourite characters from the Busted Play and Patten Securities series.
I received an ARC of this book for which I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Leads to sentences!
Seated next to the hot quarterback you had a one night stand with makes Kira both angry and annoyed. Ryan seems to enjoy being next to her and tormenting her. When she ends up as his tutor they find the hidden person behind the outward appearance. A few twists in the plot make this story a great read and the characters are written to hook you in. Can't wait to read the next book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic
Misconduct is my new favourite book. Ryan and Kira's story I love, it deals with real life issues and doesn't shy away from them. It shows not everything is black and white but can be worked out if you want it bad enough. Loved it and would definitely recommend it.
