UPDATE – The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) announced on 7 April 2022 that this Program has been placed on hold due to the new Government’s commitment to review investment in sporting clubs. Upon completion of the review, ORSR will communicate the outcome.

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing have again announced the Partnerships Program. The  grant program responds to the priorities highlighted within the Game On: Getting South Australia moving initiative, a forward looking agenda which aims to get South Australians more active, more often and enjoying the many social, health and lifestyle benefits sport and recreation provide.

The grant program will create opportunities for collaboration between sport and recreation stakeholders, government and non-government bodies, and the for-profit and not-for-profit sector to build a more active state.

Partnership projects that address any of the following Game On opportunities are encouraged to apply:

  • Making lifelong physical activity an easy non-negotiable social norm.
  • Supporting growth in active transport.
  • Encouraging active young people.
  • Providing affordable sport and recreation opportunities for all.
  • Supporting a sustainable sport and recreation sector.
  • Facilitating more and better trained volunteers.

Please read the Program Guidelines prior to submitting an application for the Partnerships Program for 2022-2023.
