The Infrastructure Priority List is a prioritised list of nationally significant investments. It provides decision makers with advice and guidance on specific infrastructure investments that will underpin Australia’s continued prosperity.

The investments outlined in the Priority List undergo a rigorous prioritisation process and are independently assessed by the Infrastructure Australia Board.

The Priority List is a live document and is updated regularly. On 26 February 2021, the annual Priority List publication was released, which includes summaries of each project and initiative:

The Eyre Infrastructure Project is the only priority project listed for South Australia. The update includes reference to the $25m funding allocated to this project by the Australian Government, that also notes the Cape Hardy project will bring together agriculture, mining, renewable hydrogen, green manufacturing and Indigenous business into a multi-user, multi-commodity manufacturing and export hub in South Australia.
