Community groups can now access financial support for project costs or resources to help meet their goals through the LINK Community Group Support Fund. Grants of up to $2,000 are available to cover project or events-based costs – that could include expenses involved with meetings, educational speakers, materials/collateral or transport. Community groups must be not-for-profit, with an annual budget of under $50,000, and do not require legal entity status.
As this is a new support option, LINK is keen to work flexibly with community groups on their needs and opportunities, with a desire to support those initiatives that might otherwise slip through the cracks. In addition to financial support, consulting advice is available for strategic planning, marketing, funding, etc.
This community group support works alongside individual and family support available through the Community Networks Community Support and No Child Misses Out Funds, which provide financial assistance for counselling, school expenses, and other one-off costs.
Please get in touch if you think this might help your community group. Email Kathy to express interest or request an application form.
