Join us for the unveiling of the Mafundi Lake 4-Plex, the Workforce Program Housing dedicated to political prisoners returning to their community from the colonial prison system.
In honor of freedom fighter and beloved member of the African community, Mafundi Lake, each apartment is fully furnished by Uhuru Furniture, and each apartment is dedicated to an African political prisoner: Dessie Woods, Mutulu Shakru, Sundiata Acoli and Assata Shakur.
This is all part of the ongoing work to rebuild the north side of St. Louis, and its residents.
