Sri Sathya Sai Human Values Day & Aradhana Mahotsavam 2021

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Jai Sai Ram!

We pray that with Swami’s Grace you are all keeping well and staying safe.

On 24th April 2011, our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba left his physical form. Our Organisation has since observed 24th April each year as the Aradhana Mahotsavam day – a Day of Remembrance.

The Organisation continues to carry forth the mission started by Sri Sathya Sai Baba who, by His selfless love, universal spiritual teachings, and exemplary life dedicated to social service which touched the hearts of millions of people all over the world. Each year, and particularly on this day, devotees commemorate His life and legacy by remembering Him and practising His teachings.

As our reverence and gratitude, we have organised two short programmes marking the 10th anniversary. We would like to personally invite you to a Human Values event in the morning and Aradhana Mahotsavam event in the evening on Saturday the 24th of April 2021.

10am – 12pm Human Values Programme

5pm – 7.30pm Aradhana Mahotsavam

Online at: www.srisathyasai.org.uk/live

The Human Values programme will consist of a Human Values Concert with various groups and artists performing. Esteemed faith leaders from around the country, and an exhibition of how people across the country have demonstrated human values in their local community during the pandemic.

The evening programme commencing at 5pm will consist of an international guest speaker talking about their experiences with our dearest Bhagawan, a musical offering, Vedam, Bhajans and a Divine discourse.

Additionally, this year the Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam (offering of love and adoration to Sri Sathya Sai) will be observed for 28 days from 28th March to 24th April 2021.

Devotees are requested to engage in this 28 day of intense spiritual sadhana by engaging in any of the following activities:

  • Chanting daily Sai Gayatri 36 times (which will amount to 1,008 times over the 28 days)
  • Undertaking one service activity locally on the day. More details to follow:
  • Reading, listening, contemplating on any of Swami’s literature or discourses.

We look forward to joining together from all corners of the UK to unite and commemorate this auspicious and special day.

“Our life is like a block of ice which is melting away every moment. Before it spends itself, devote it to the service of others”.
