Liza (pronounced Lee-za) is an emerging Ethiopian-Canadian singer-songwriter from Toronto, Canada. Not too long ago, she released a delightful R&B tune, entitled, “Lansdowne,” produced by Toronto producers, Akeel Henry (Jeremih, dvsn, Ty Dolla $ign) and Kofo (Wizkid, Kaash Paige).

‘Lansdowne’ tells a heartfelt tale about a young woman who shares a challenging relationship with her significant other. Apparently, their relationship didn’t work as planned, and now she’s reflecting on what went wrong. She realized that the excitement of a new romance clouded her judgment. Later, she decides to move on after finding out who her partner really is.
‘Lansdowne’ was named after Lansdowne Avenue in Toronto, Canada. The heartfelt tune is a coda to the love story that began in Liza’s first single, ROLLA. The song took listeners through the giddy stage of a new, still-promising relationship until its painful ending in DONE IS DONE.
