IIAC SEEKS MEMBERS FOR NEW TALENT MANAGEMENT/HUMAN RESOURCE COMMITTEE
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of issues arose that touched on HR issues, such as return to work protocols, workplace privacy, and keeping staff motivated and productive in a work-from-home environment. The IIAC developed a number of tools and webinars to help members navigate these issues. In addition to COVID-19 issues, the IIAC has dealt with legislative initiatives and tackled projects such as our periodic compensation survey. To address issues such as these going forward, the IIAC is creating a dedicated Committee that will focus on HR and Talent Management issues as they arise. The Committee will identify current issues and opportunities and share best practices to help develop member workforces and workplaces. We anticipate running periodic roundtables and creating webinars. The expected time commitment will be minimal, with quarterly meetings, and voluntary working groups for specific projects.
