Thanks Woola for organising this charity run and amazing to see Estonian startup community being so much into running 400m. As organisers rightly mentioned, this is the worst distance one can choose to run.

Lately, our Salto X team has been focused on helping startups run secondary deals for their employees, giving them the opportunity to cash out their stock options. This is a rewarding thing to do - we’ve seen the amazing impact it has not only on the lives of these employees but also on the startup ecosystems as a whole. Our amazing Kaisa Luht just shared her insights on participating in a secondary from two different angles: managing the deal from the company’s side and also being a seller as an employee with shares. As she explains, running a secondary deal is challenging - but the benefits and spillover effects make it well worth it. Also, grateful to Kaisa for introducing me to the jiu-jitsu world 2 weeks ago and challenging my inner pacifist. Turns out I did have some muscle memory from my last judo attempt 20+ years ago 😄
