This year, participants at Beaverton City Library can read for a good cause by Reading to Feed! Track your hours from June 1 through August 15 and help earn meals for recipients of Meals on Wheels People delivery service. For every 100 hours read collectively, our generous sponsor, The New Friends of the Beaverton City Library, will donate one meal through Meals on Wheels People (up to 135 total).

Adults ages 18 and older can submit their reading hours online at BeavertonLibrary.org, or in person at the main library or the Murray Scholls branch. Each time you submit your hours read throughout the summer, your name will be entered in our weekly prize drawings. This summer, make an impact by reading!

This year's theme is "Reading Colors Your World" and the program runs June 1 through August 15.

Kids (birth to grade 5) and teens (grades 6 to 12) can keep track of the time they read, listen, and learn. Reading logs are available at both Beaverton library locations and online. Or participants can make their own!

No registration is required. Kids and teens can simply bring their completed reading log (totaling 15 hours) to the library between July 5 and August 15 to choose a brand new, free book to keep.
