Banks Seed Library

The Seed Library is a free program committed to supporting community gardeners of all levels.  Through the seed library we will provide resources needed to help community members learn how to grow their own food and save seed.

Borrowing seeds from Banks Seed Library is FREE and EASY!

  1. Browse our online catalog here.  Email your selections to the library banksPL@wccls.org or stop by the library to browse the inventory cabinet. Call us at 503-324-1382 with questions.
  2. Grow your plants and enjoy the harvest.
  3. Collect seeds from mature plants and return some if you are able. There is no penalty, so don’t worry if you are not able to return seeds.

Return seeds and donations

  • When donating seeds to the library, please use this donation form and follow these easy guidelines.
