Buzzing with creativity and a thirst to help our honey bees, EcoCat “Honey Beads” was born.

My passion for an earthy, modern and soulful style is innate. My Grandmother (you’ll see her in the awesome circular glasses), the original “Kitty”, was a true fashionista and lover of people, sports and laughter. Her energy in a room, or on a mountain, was palpable. Her glasses have become her symbol and are an inspiration for my logo...

While she is my fashion and moxie guru, she is not the only influence on starting EcoCat, I come from a line of independent woman who crashed through glass ceilings and created their own magic in many forms. From award winning she-pilots and typists to activists, I have been surrounded by she-strength and passion.

We all need to think that our small impacts make a difference...by supporting EcoCat, you’re doing your part to help an independent maker and also supporting our environment, as 2% of every sale goes to organizations that help save the bees.

Could you make them with ear wires that close?

YES! I have had a few requests to make pairs with ear wires that have their own closures. Let me know if you have a preference.

Could you make them with surgical steel ear wires?

Yes! I understand that people have allergies. I can replace silver with surgical steel, no problem. We may need to figure out the best way to replace the gold, however. If it’s a gold-centric pair, the surgical steel could look wonky. Just get in touch and we will make something work!
