Happy Season of Creation! We join Christians worldwide in this special time to pray and act for creation. Let us all find ways to renew our commitment to care for our planet and each other.

Below are a few ways that you can start your Season of Creation journey. We’ll be in touch weekly with more ways to live out this special time of the year through prayer, action, and advocacy. And let us know how you’re bringing this season to life by replying to this email!

The global Christian family will unite to officially launch the Season of Creation with a prayer service on Wednesday. The gathering will feature prayers from the tradition of Native American Christians and invite attendees to more fully explore the theme of this year’s Season of Creation, “A home for all? Renewing the Oikos of God.”

The event will be broadcast live in English, with simultaneous translations in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and French.

More than 100 Laudato Si’ Animators from Italy gave His Holiness a handmade “Abraham’s tent” on Wednesday, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, which marks the start of the ecumenical Season of Creation.
