Amea releases an appealing music video for her “Billion” single

Amea (Emma Amalie Jensen) is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Denmark. Not too long ago, she released an appealing music video for her “Billion” single.

Amea – “Billion” music video

“Seven in the morning staring at the bedroom wall. Ain’t got no motivation to wake up at all. But I gotta do the laundry, check my mail, and make those calls. Craving for some action, I mean what if I could be living the life that was meant to be mine. Let me explain what it’d look like: If I had a billion dollars, I’d show my real colors. Turning up as VIP, smiling at my enemies. Pull up in my Ferrari, ice n drip so classy. Prada dress and Gucci sneaks,  living out my fantasies.” – lyrics

‘Billion’ draws inspiration from ‘90s pop, and the overall message is “no such thing as too much.” It is evident that Amea has grown up in the Britney Spear era, which particularly comes across in the phone conversation in the song’s intro and outro. Furthermore, “Billion” is the soundtrack of Amea – the provincial girl who never felt suppressed by restrictions. She was a child who secretly stood on the neighbor’s fields and sang to herself.

‘Billion’ also contains a relatable narrative and pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, and Zara Larsson. The likable tune possesses vibrant instrumentation flavored with a contemporary pop vibration. Also, “Billion” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from Amea in the near future.

“I don’t need more friends, I just need some cash
to go and buy gold paper just to wipe my a**.”

“‘Billion’ is your opportunity to dance on the table in stilettos and a sparkling dress while pouring champagne all over your friends. And loudly proclaiming that you’ll handle the bill even though you’re aware that your money is probably better spent on something else.” – Amea explained
