Registration for this national event is now closed!

Several local screenings and Q&A's (featuring Craig Reucassel) are still open for registration:

These events are organised by local ACF Community groups in these cities – however the online events are open to everyone right across the country.

Watch the new documentary Big Deal: Is our Democracy for sale? and join director Craig Reucassel and special guests for an exclusive Q&A.

Big Deal is a crucial exposé of the sobering influence dirty political donations have on our democracy – including holding back real climate action. Yet it is also funny, heart-warming and ultimately a hopeful story of people power.

How to take part in this special event:

  1. Watching Big Deal: You'll receive a link via email to watch the documentary 48 hours before the Q&A. You can watch it online at any time that suits you during that 48 hours.
  2. Joining the Q&A: After watching Big Deal, join us on Zoom on Thursday 30 September, 7pm AEST for a discussion about the film, and to ask the director and special guests your questions. You will get the Zoom link via email when signing up!

This event is completely free!

Q&A panelists:

  • Craig Reucassel: Director of Big Deal. Craig is an Australian writer and comedian who is also known for his work with The Chaser and The War on Waste.
  • Saffron Zomer: Director of the Australian Democracy Network.
  • Jolene Elberth: ACF Democracy Campaigner.
