What is the Zero Carbon Tour?

In our most ambitious plan yet, our team embarked on the Zero Carbon Tour, taking a fully electric coach (Carbon Battle Bus) across the UK to demonstrate the need for a net zero transition. On the road to COP26, we illustrated the phenomenal array of actions the business community is taking to play a part in creating a sustainable zero carbon future.

Across 125 locations, we engaged with over 8000 people in 45 towns and cities in the UK. We proudly partnered with Carbon Copy to gather over 200 carbon stories and examples of the work businesses and communities are undergoing to tackle the climate crisis, build a brighter future for all, and reach net zero targets.

Many local, national and global organisations have been inspired to join the Race to Zero with more than 70% of attendees committing to taking climate action.

With the impending climate crisis and government targets being set, it was good to get practical insight into how to join the battle

Join the Race to Zero

We partnered with the UN-backed Race to Zero campaign to reinforce our commitment to its goal of halving emissions by 2030 and achieving net zero emissions as soon as possible. Our Zero Carbon Tour uncovered how businesses can set their own credible net zero carbon targets in line with Race to Zero’s rigorous minimum criteria and implement plans to achieve them.

We hope businesses from our community will join the race to zero by setting ambitious net zero carbon targets.

OK, BUT HOW?
