After an explosion of worldwide popularity in the 1990s, rollerblading is making a comeback in the streets of Lagos. Originally used to navigate the city’s dense traffic, rollerblades have become a form of self-expression for select members of Lagos’ rollerblading subculture. This film, shot on location in West Africa, provides rare insight into the lives of Nigerian rollerbladers.
