Nanda at Nokee Kwe
Nanda, meaning “seek; look for”; a digital skills training program.

Established in 2021, Nanda was an online educational program through Nokee Kwe, created in partnership with RoboGarden Inc.
Through this partnership, Nokee Kwe delivered a free digital skills training program with a focus on Indigenous women in the London area.
The program was called Nanda at Nokee Kwe, which means, “seek; look for” in Anishnaabemowin.
It taught fundamental coding skills from a basic to professional level, using gamification to create an interactive and fun learning environment.
Participants of the program were Indigenous women, 18 years and older, who are transitioning to employment or education and seeking digital skills.
RoboGarden Inc.
RoboGarden Inc. is a global, Calgary-based educational technology company that digitizes science, technology, robotics, engineering, art, and mathematics (STREAM) content.
That content is then taught through computational thinking and coding concepts using an interactive online platform for all ages.
This Employment Ontario program was funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
