Per our chapter charter, in November we will vote on our Heart of Texas Chapter Executive Board members for 2022. The slate is as follows:
K.P. Gresham, President
Kelly Manfredini, Vice-President
Susan Toalson, Secretary
Dave Ciambrone, Treasurer
Additionally, the following members will serve on the board:
Pat Kelly, Membership Chairperson
Noreen Cedeno, Social Media Chairperson
Kathy Waller, Chapter Historian
Helen Currie Foster, Past-President
Additional nominations are welcomed by emailing us now at chapter@sistersincrimeAustin.com or making nominations at the November meeting, after which the vote will be taken. The new board will begin its terms on January 1, 2022.
We are missing two familiar names in the above lists. Fran Paino has served as our secretary and membership chairperson for several years now. She has requested to pass that baton on as her responsibilities at home have become more and more involved. We are SO grateful for all the time and effort that Fran has put into making our chapter better and so much more organized. We will miss you, Fran. And we’re still going to depend on you for your advice and your muscle power in keeping our chapter in line. You are a treasure.
We are also saying goodbye to our Website/Newsletter guru, Kelly Cochran. Although much of what she has done is behind the scenes, Kelly has whipped both our website and newsletter into the 21st century and worked her patootie off to make sure what she has created is easy to follow AND filled with information for all of our members. Kelly, we thank you so much for all you have done. Your job has been a difficult one, and you’ve carried it off with hard work and patience. Thank you so much for helping us get our tech up to specs.
We have yet to fill Kelly’s position. If anyone out there is interested in taking up our tech oversight or knows of someone who might, please let us know at chapter@sistersincrimeaustin.com. Kelly has done a lot of work to automate the needed tasks. (Knowledge of Mailerlite would be helpful but not mandatory. It’s pretty easy to use!)
