The launch of Russian hybrid aggression against Ukraine back in 2014 was a landmark that showed the importance of new hybrid forms of warfare. Soon, also other undemocratic countries (like China) started to use hybrid operations when pursuing their interests abroad. Since then, different models and responses have been used and developed by different democratic countries across the world.
