Portrait of Corey Kilgannon

Corey Kilgannon

In addition to criminal justice issues, I also write breaking news and various feature stories in and around New York.

I have been writing for The Times since becoming a copy boy in the 1990s. I became a staff reporter in 2000 and have written often about characters and life in less-represented neighborhoods in the city and its suburbs.

As a Times journalist, I share the values and adhere to the standards of integrity outlined in our Ethical Journalism Handbook.
