About this ebook

Tyler

I went from hotshot goalie to the pariah of the hockey league overnight. Now, I’m volunteering to clean up my image to earn my place back on the team. Coaching kids isn’t a hardship. In fact, I like it.  But I’m pissed that management is punishing me for a fight that was a family matter. Definitely not the league's business.

No one cares, except Kendra—the striking volunteer coordinator I can’t stop flirting with. Her defenses are up, but I’ve never walked away from a challenge. Management’s directives are clear—“Kendra is off limits”. But I’m not going to let anyone stand in my way.

Kendra

Tyler Maxwell is every woman’s dream come true. He’s hot, protective, and so damn tempting--especially when he's coaching those kids.

I'm not about to get involved, though. I have my reasons. But why do I keep thinking that I want him to hold me forever?

First I just want to clarify Tyler's relationship status - I licked him so he's mine! That being said let's get back to this rumor about him and Kendra This was a very low angst romance with a steady ready pacing slight ups and very few lows. Lots of family spotlights, which in my opinion only made the story stronger. Then we had the chemistry between Tyler and Kendra as they tested the waters between them which were oh so sugary sweet I recommend this as a bedside read my reasoning being the slower pace and the overall "comfort" feel to their romance And a quick note as I am known to do I dropped into this series with Hold Me Forever and had no problem with the content - However I fell in love with this family and will be going back to book one

4.5 Stars I've been waiting for this one since I finished Promise Me Forever. I knew Tyler's story was going to be a really good one! I was proved right because I couldn't put this book down. Tyler and Kendra had me gobbling up the pages. I loved the playfulness they had with one another. Kendra's backstory pulled on my heartstrings. She so deserves a loving family like the Maxwells to welcome her with open arms. This book just made me fall for the Maxwells even more. This book had the perfect combination of heart, humor, and heat. Kendra and Tyler have burning hot chemistry with the connection that makes it special. There was so much heart and feels in this one. Tyler had me swooning. This is a must read! I'm already eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

Tyler finds himself needing to improve his image while he is rehabbing his shoulder. For him, not being on the ice is a true challenge but when he gets setup to coach a group of kids for his volunteer assignment, well, this allows him to continue to enjoy the sport he loves. What he never expected was Kendra, the volunteer coordinator to be so captivating and fun. She is a breath of fresh air for Tyler and someone he wants to get to know. For Kendra, she isn’t sure what to expect from Tyler but when he starts helping with several of her projects, he shows the genuine man that he is, she has a hard time not falling for him. I enjoyed this couple and all the wonderful moments they found together. Along the way, we get to spend more time with the entire Maxwell family which I loved. This couple gave me passion, desire and hope for love and family. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
