We are expanding our successful Lobby “Day” into Lobby “Week” for 2022.  By completing this survey, you will let us know that you want to be a part of it.

The Public Policy team is seeking members who are willing to visit with their state representatives in their district offices while they are home on spring break April 11-15.   This is a great opportunity to meet your representatives, inform them about AAUW and what your branch is doing for their constituents, and advocate for their support for our priority bills.

Legislators may wish to meet in person in their district office, or they may prefer to meet via Zoom. The committee, in conjunction with our professional advocate, will schedule meetings with those representatives willing to participate.  Where in-person meetings are indicated, we will match AAUW members residing in those districts who are also willing to meet in person (note: masks and/or proof of vaccinations may be required).  Where representatives indicate a preference for Zoom meetings only, we may ask out-of-district members to make a presentation if no in-district members are available.  

A mandatory webinar training session will be held on April 7, 2022. Participants will receive training materials prior to the webinar.
