The Spark Capital team is delighted to announce that we are now investing out of our newest set of early-stage and venture-growth funds with over $2.1 billion aggregate commitments. We greatly appreciate the backing of our limited partners, whose trust allows us to continue our mission of supporting the most ambitious founders right from the start to IPO and beyond.

We are also incredibly excited to announce the promotion of Natalie Sandman and James Kuklinski to General Partner in these new funds. James joined the venture growth team from Allen & Company in 2018 and has partnered with fintech and software companies across sectors, ranging from international payments to vertical software modernizing real estate and logistics. Natalie joined the early-stage team in 2019 with a background in product. She has led investments in fast-growing, software and API-first companies in areas ranging from CRM to construction to healthcare. We are thankful for their leadership within our firm and their outstanding work with founders.

While our assets grow and core themes evolve, we are still committed to working in much the same way that has worked well for almost two decades, even when it’s out of fashion. We remain a close-knit team of dedicated investors that make a relatively small number of new investments each year. We prefer to roll our sleeves up with entrepreneurs rather than outsource this partnership to a support team.

Our deepest gratitude to the founders and teams with whom we’ve been fortunate to partner over the years. We will continue to strive to earn their first call.

We couldn’t be more optimistic about what lies ahead.
