Sutton Light Night – ATTFE’s Partnership and Community Team took part in both nights of the Sutton Light Night to promote the variety of courses we have on offer for the local community. Both nights were a huge success. It was great to speak to the individuals and families who attended and see so many people out having fun in Sutton Town Centre.
D2N2 Recruiting Talent – Team ATTFE attended West Notts College for the D2N2 Recruiting Talent event, along with a wide range of local providers and businesses in order to widen the links that we as a college have, find out about future plans for local authorities and to learn more around disability inclusion within the workplace.
Mill Waters Memory Café – Our Partnership and Community Lead Dianne, supported the first Memory Café session which took place at Kings Mill Reservoir as part of the Mill Waters Project. This is a community session to support people living with dementia and their family members. Each session will include an optional walk around the reservoir as well as fun activities indoors in the Mill Waters activity room (next to the café). The sessions will take monthly, the next one being held on Wednesday 9th March starting at 1.30pm. There is no need to book, just turn up. Portland College Moving on Event – Thank you to Portland College for inviting ATTFE to their Moving on Event earlier this month. Lee and Dianne our Partnership and Community Leads attended the afternoon to promote the courses on offer to students at the college.
