Hell Gate

Rate this book
From USA Today & International bestselling author, Veronica Eden, comes an all-new standalone reverse harem paranormal romance with a headstrong heroine and twisted demons who left their morals in the last century.

Open the gate...if you dare.

The first thing I’m warned about when I arrive at the girls’ home is to stay away from the abandoned graveyard. Local urban legend claims it’s host to a gate to Hell.

Then I was dared…

The legend is as real as the monsters I’ve summoned by activating the gate. Demons guard it, waiting for skeptical idiots like me to do the ritual. Three sinfully hot, dangerously powerful demons.

Valerian.
Matthias.
Alder.

Ruthless.
Deadly.
Terrifying.

The gate’s three wicked protectors won’t let me get away without paying their price.
I’m at their mercy, fighting to survive them and the supernatural world they drag me into.
But none of us are prepared for what is awakening within me.

A long buried secret and hidden ancient magic will change everything.
The match is lit and together we’re all going up in flames.

*Hell Gate is a standalone PNR reverse harem romance. Due to dark themes, strong language, and graphic violent/sexual situations it is recommended for mature readers.

Veronica Eden is a USA Today and International bestselling author of romances with spitfire heroines, irresistible heroes, and edgy twists.

She loves exploring complicated feelings, magical worlds, epic adventures, and the bond of characters that embrace us against the world. She has always been drawn to gruff bad boys, clever villains, and the twisty-turns of a morally gray character. She is a sucker for a deliciously swoony hero with a devastating smirk. When not writing, she can be found soaking up sunshine at the beach, snuggling in a pile with her untamed pack of animals (her husband, dog and cats), and surrounding herself with as many plants as she can get her hands on.

2.5 - 3 stars!

Hell Gate is a paranormal RH romance about Lily and her demons from Hell, Valerian, Matthias and Alder. Lily has never felt like she belonged in her town and decides to take a bet to call upon the demons guarding the Hell Gate in the forest. Thinking it's all a bunch of folklore, she is surprised to find three sexy demons before her. Now their lives are intertwined and their bond is deeper than they realize. Lily isn't an ordinary human and Valerian, Matthias and Alder are out to prove that she is more and the looming threat upon them will be a fight. They'll need each other and more to make it out.

Usually this is my jam...paranormal, fated mates and kinky steam but I just couldn't get into this story. I think Lily was the reason...I couldn't quite connect with her as a character, as I felt like she was slightly childish and juvenile in some of her actions. I also felt that Valerian, Matthias and Alder lacked that domineering nature that demons from Hell (in my opinion) should have. It is safe to say that I am pretty picky about my paranormal romance reads and I hate that this story didn't live up to my expectations but despite its shortcomings, it was a decent read. I do recommend it to all those paranormal RH romance readers out there.

What an intriguing and creatively penned paranormal fantasy story! Hell Gate is irresistible fun and addictively page-turning. Brimming with suspense and adventure, fiercely romantic, and deliciously sexy, this story captivated me completely. And with Veronica’s trademark character chemistry and an alluring and well-built demon-filled world, you’ll be utterly seduced by these characters. I loved this story! AND SERIOUSLY HOLY HOTNESS! If this is the kind of heat you find in hell, take me through that gate! Because this is Veronica's spiciest book to date- melted hearts and panties. The perfect seduction.

This is Veronica Eden like you’ve never seen her before- and not only because of the paranormal spin and the reverse harem love story. But it plays to all over Veronica’s deftly handled autorial strengths - her keen and captivating world building, dynamically intense and complicated character chemistry, and flawed, edgy, but redemptive character journeys that both move and entertain. All creatively woven into this whole new world full of fae and demons, hell hounds and hellfire, and the twisted and maniacal machinations of Hell’s magical creatures. I won’t spoil the plot, because that’s half the fun- this is a big ole adventure story with a lot of action, danger, and steam- but I will say that Veronica weaves such an intricately and creatively inspired web of politics and hellish intrigue. It’s edge of your seat riding while also just being a whole lot of fun.

But at the center, like always, are characters that are equal parts complicated and fascinating. The substance and layers of a heroine can often make or break a harem construction, and I have to say that Veronica truly WOWs with our heroine. She had me at a curvy, sassy, ginger heroine- but then Lily just stole my whole heart. She’s tough, she’s resilient, but she’s also so breathtakingly vulnerable, a heroine that embodies every insecurity and fear of rejection that we all as humans shroud ourselves in. She’s feisty while being open hearted. And I loved her character journey- the ways in which these men and this adventure help her really take the time to sit in her discomfort and confront her own demons. And in doing so, she taps into her true power and finds the love she’s always craved- not because someone rescued her or “saved her, but because she finds HERSELF. Her journey is all about identity and belonging,

AND THESE GUYS. I’ve always loved a Veronica Eden man, so give me three and help me JAYSUS. Not only are they physically distinctive, but they are emotionally distinctive, something quite astounding given that this is a single POV story. But that only helps enrich their characterization and mystery, as we understand them through Lily’s eyes. Each progresses as a love interest at a different pace, which gives each a time to shine, each has their own backstory and personality, and their behaviors and dialogue have a unique character stamp. Veronica ensures we have clear emotive ties between LIly and each, while also building a team and family dynamic. It’s reverse harem done right- because it all works.

The chemistry is mesmerizing, or perhaps I should say chemistiries since again each coupling within the harem works brilliantly. There is an insta quality given the mating dynamic, but Veronica breathes emotive substance and complexity into a physiological beginning. The heart and soul of these connections truly shines. And y’all- THIS BOOK IS HOT. Veronica’s hottest And not just because we’ve got an abundance of demon D to nom on, but Veronica gets really creative with not just the plural partners but their demon….attributes. GIVE ME ALL THIS KINKY DEMON FUCKERY. NOt only is it sexy, but's creative- it felt fresh, inventive, and like I needed 50 cold showers because I myself had been dancing in the hellfire.

And while this book is HOT and super fun, what I loved most of all is how this steamy, demonic, fun paranormal romp is infused with a thematic tinge that really gives it staying power. Hell Gate is about belonging, about discovering yourself and figuring out just where you FIT in this big wide world. Displacement, abandonment, rejection, and fear - those are the REAL demons, and often we find ourselves at our lowest, when it’s the hardest, when we lean into our discomfort and accept what makes us special. Our otherness may be a catalyst to belonging, to true connection- perhaps even in the places we least expect it. Even Hell’s door.

Loved this world so much! Can’t wait for more PNR Veronica Eden!

This was good! I don't usually read PNR books, but a friend recommended this one and the cherry on top was that it was a reverse harem. That's my jam so I was sold!

Lily has been passed around from foster home to foster home because she was different and labeled as a troublemaker. Finally ending up in a small, creepy town with a so called haunted mine and a cemetery that is supposed to be off limits. One night the girls from her current home have her tag along to the cemetery after lights out. Lily doesn't believe a single word coming from these girls' mouths. So when they dare her to do the ritual that would summon demons she's down cause it's all just make believe, just a myth, right?!

Well she does it all. Dare and summons. These 3 demons were hot. Literally. Melted into a puddle of goo. Lust and chemistry was off the charts. They were perfect... for her! Valerian, Matthias and Alder. They all brought something to the group. One was broody and in charge, one was sweet and comical and one was quiet and protective. Together they were amazing! Umm, the forked tongues got me. Holy shitakes!

I loved that this was a RH standalone. I was intrigued and I don't feel like the paranormal aspects of the story were way over the top. As a newbie that might have freaked me out a bit haha.

Don't sleep on this one! It's 100% worth the read!!

This is prime example of how a PNR RH stand-alone should be written!

This was my first novel that I read from Veronica Eden and I wasn't disappointed at all! This book was the perfect blend of steam, great characters that you want to root for, and an interesting plot. I loved everything about this book from beginning to end. If you're considering reading this book: do it! It's amazing.

We follow Lily, a girl who has been in and out of multiple foster cares and has gone through many things that have left her traumatized, as she goes to her last foster care before she ages out and ends up meeting three mysterious guys that will change her life forever. Lily is a protagonist who you will want to root for, as she's sassy, badass, and takes no crap from anyone; she's a character that deserves so much more than what she's been given in life. Valerian, Alder, and Matthias are all different guys, but they all manage to compliment each other and Lily in a perfect fashion. Valerian is the broody, mysterious, dark haired one; Alder is the teddy bear with a heart of gold; and Matthias is the goofy, fun-loving, sweetheart. You'll love all of these guys by the end of the book. I sometimes have difficulty with how characters and romances aren't fleshed out in standalones like this one, but Eden did this wonderfully! The characters are interesting, they all have chemistry with one another, and the romance is believable!

The plot if absolutely *chef's kiss*. If you love road trips, fighting bad guys, finding out about your past, tension with the MMCs, spice, and a HEA, you are going to love this book as much as I did. Things can get a little slow at some points, but it picks right back up in no time at all.

All in all, this is an amazing stand-alone and you should check it out!

I enjoyed the concept for this story, and the characters were just entertaining enough to keep me reading/skimming even when the writing fell particularly flat.

Lily drove me crazy as a narrator. She’s fairly standard for a paranormal RH heroine, but her immaturity was grating. I almost DNF’d from the opening page because of the way she described herself and her clothing - and it never really improved. I felt like her traumatic backstory was just there for the plot rather than actually being handled with the necessary nuance. She has an inner monologue about how her upbringing has given her major trust issues but then that’s all thrown out the window for insta-love and fated mates. If that was supposed to be a major foundation of her character, I would have liked to see it explored in more depth.

I liked the fluff of her relationships (particularly the care-taking aspects that she previously lacked), but I feel like the execution was subpar. There was some great potential here, but none of it was realized.

Hell Gate is a paranormal RH romance book with great characters and an intriguing plot!

This book is different from the author’s other works but it also has similar vibes that I really liked. It made this story such an interesting read! Lily is honestly such an intriguing character and I enjoyed getting to know her. She is strong and always stays her true self. Her personality is just everything and made this book a fun read. As in every Veronica Eden book, the chemistry is my favorite part ALWAYS. These characters have great moments and I liked reading them.

This book has the best vibes. Great characters with a plot that captures your attention so easily.

Okay I’ll admit, I struggled to initially get into HellGate. I have a confession, I’m not the biggest paranormal fan. BUT I love Veronica and her style of writing so I knew I had to read it. I’m so glad I did because after the initial struggle (which was purely me not being well versed in my demon knowledge and finding it a little overwhelming) I loved it. I loved our 3 demon boys Valerian, Matthias and Alder, yes I said our because I want to claim them for me too 😂 It was also my first Fated Mates trope read since my wattpad days and my first experience of knotting 😳 imma leave it here that I was … impressed 😌 the spice was definitely spectacular and well, Lily is a very lucky girl! I liked the storyline and the descriptive language to describe the scenery, especially in Hell! If you’re a fan of forked tongues (because I definitely am 👀) and you like cheeky demons, and one very, sulky demon. Then definitely add this one to your TBR!

After being shipped off to her last foster home before she ages out of the system, heroine Lily just wants to skate by and work on her future. Of course fate has something different in store for Lily. Her first night there her fellow foster siblings dare her to enter the cursed and supposed gate she may never return from or worse come back cursed. Lily may think their hazing is all fun and games but suddenly she’s being stalked by three hot hell demons and they want her soul.

Lily is not exactly the human she appears and turns the guys world upside down right along with hers. As reapers, of a sort, the guys plan to do their duty and be on their way. However Lily’s heritage, the pull between them all and the hell demons hot on their heels have them all on the run. The pacing of the story moves rather quickly and made for a more exciting read. I found the first half to be more exciting as they all explored the connection between them and tried to figure out who and what she was. Perhaps the quick pacing made the climax less thrilling because it fell a bit flat for me after such a roller coaster ride. Still it was an enjoyable read with a HEA and I’m curious to check out other books within this series. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hot demon RH standalone.

4/5 ⭐️
3.75/5 🌶 (short scenes but there a lot)

Tropes:
- paranormal romance
- reverse harem (1 girl, 3 guys; no sword crossing/MM)
- fated mates
- knotting
- enemies to lovers
- heroine in foster care (age 17 nearing 18)
- past trauma (heroine)
- “touch her/him and you die” energy from everyone
- curvy heroine

POV: first person - single (heroine)

Type: stand-alone

This is my first paranormal romance and it’s safe to say it won’t be my last. It’s AMAZING. I did have to google “knotting” and I still don’t completely understand it so that was fun.

My only negatives are that most of the sequences felt rush and a little too fast paced like we were just running through the motions. Also there was a lot more sex than plot to the point I wanted to skip anytime they fucked (I didn’t but I wanted too).

DNF @ 53%

I didn’t like the three MLs. The way they threatened to kill the FL at the beginning, even knowing she was innocent. The fact they had murdered many other innocent people in the past, and how much they enjoyed it.

The affection they eventually showed the FL because she was their mate just felt hollow to me, because I had been told and shown just how awful they actually were, so I couldn’t look past that just because they decided to not be awful to the FL.

I also just wasn’t interested in the plot or the worldbuilding.

It's not a bad story, I just didn't find the writing particularly engaging nor do I think I will reach out for this book ever again. A lot of the scenes seemed repetitive to me and I honestly got tired of the inner dialogue of the FMC. In my opinion it would have been better if it had different POVs.

Pace of the story : Moderate

Plot Summary :
A childish bet leads to so much more for Lily. She always felt out of place between the people in her city. When she hears the old tale of the forest and the hell gate in it which is guarded by the three monsters, she takes the bet to call them out. I mean, it was just a tale for the kids right? There was no way there was an actual gate to hell here and it was being guarded by demons??

Wrong.

She learned her mistake fast when she saw the three gorgeous men before her. Their features were different and they seemed otherworldly. So she ran away. But that did not make them go away. They are everywhere she is and now somehow she is wrapped in their lives. Who are they? Are they the demons from hell? Is the hell gate real? Well, she better hope not.

Overall Opinion :
I absolutely love Dark romance by this author and when I got this Fantasy RH by her? I was over the moon. Three demons from hell and an innocent girl who accidentally summoned them? Looks like my cup of tea 🤣

Lily and her demons have an amazing tale which will definitely hook you all. I loved this standalone and it was dark and steamy in all the right parts. Definitely Recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there. If angels demos, fantasy, paranormal dark romance and RH is your cup of tea then definitely read this one!

Oh my God love this so much. I really wish this was the start of a series! But the author already told me it's a standalone 😭
It took a hot minute for me to get invested in the storyline but once I did, yes! I could tell the guys were all in from the beginning. There was no inner turmoil amongst them! Just them against the bad guys. 5 stars

ARC kindly provided for the author in exchange for an honest review

Could this be one of the hottest books of the year? Yes. Has one of the best plots of 2022? Absolutely! Veronica Eden created an amazing world for Hell Gate, everything about these sexy demons was very interesting from the beginning to the end, the twists that the story had left me shocked and I loved madly these characters, so much so that I would love to reread Lily, Matthias, Valerian & Alder as main characters again.

Lily was a character who stole my heart from the first chapters, I loved her personality, her strength and how comfortable she's in her own skin, but at the same time she always shows her vulnerable side, she's a girl who has not had a simple life, and that broke my heart many times and made me want to protect her as much as the boys, her personal story was so interesting, I liked her attitude towards everything that surrounded her and the unexpected twists & secrets that his character had hidden.

The three sexy demons who came to change Lily's life are totally different from each other: Matthias is the most easy going, flirtatious and sensual of the boys, plus he's the one who shows his attraction and feelings for Lily from the beginning, and it was my favorite, I don't want to say the reasons because reading him was an amazing experience. Alder is the most serious of the group, a brave warrior and willing to protect his brothers and Lily, he has a tender & sensitive side that I was very surprised to discover and that stole my heart too. Finally, there is Valerian the most mysterious of this demons, with an interesting personal story and a surprising past that gave the story a twist that I really liked.

Alder, Valerian & Matthias have a peculiar relationship that becomes even closer when Lily unexpectedly arrives at the gate of hell that they guard, and although things between them don't begin in the best way I loved reading how they make her feel loved, protected and valuable for the first time, they accept her as she is, they believe in her strength, besides it was very beautiful to read as among all they find what they need and the strength to fight against the enemies that are presented to them throughout the book. Definitely one of the things I liked most about this story was that it has the perfect balance between the dark, sensual, sexy and tender aspects of Lily's relationship with her boys and that the bond she formed with each of them was special in a particular way.

And as I mentioned at the beginning, I liked a lot this new world that Veronica created, I think there are characters that have a lot of potential, like Rainer and Lucifer himself, so I'd love to see more stories in this universe and maybe a cameo from my favorite demons.

Lily has had a difficult life. She was abandoned when she was just a baby and has been jumping from foster home to foster home since. There is something different within her, something she tries to hide at all costs.

When she is dared to open the Hell gates she thinks it’s just a prank and accepts. She didn’t know the three guardians of the gate would come for her.

Valerian (the ruthless leader), Matthias (the devilish trickster) and Alder (the stoic warrior) had the mission to punish Lily for breaking the rule and opening the gate. However their pull is so great they can’t find in themselves to do this.

In their journey to discover what this pull means, they discover a lot of secrets that kept the reader entertained throughout the book.

This book was surprisingly romantic and sweet, I loved the three guys (Alder is my favorite 😍😍😍)!! Veronica also was successful in writing a young FMC without her being dumb and silly and that was a big deal to me.

I really enjoyed this book and if you like spicy supernatural RH books you will certainly enjoy it.

*** I received an advanced copy of Hell Gate and this is my honest opinion. ***

𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.

This story was captivating. It's paranormal-RH standalone full of secrets, angst and a badass heroine with 3 hot as hell demons.

Lily, the main female protagonist was labelled as a freak from a young age. She was found abandoned when she was a kid and after years in the foster system, she had to toughen up and stopped relying on others for anything. She bounced from one foster home to another and when she moved again to the new group home just before her 18th birthday she had no idea what new adventure was awaiting for her in Brim Hills.

Somehow she summoned the 3 demons-Valerian. Matthias. Alder. by opening the Hell Gate.
Valerian was broody and the leader of the group. Alder was the quiet one but always there to protect Lily. Matthias was the joker of the groups but equally powerful.
She felt attached to them but none of them had any idea about her true identity Lily including her. Chaos erupted when they started looking for her true identity and it forced them all together to help and protect each other.

I signed for this arc by reading the blurb it was so intriguing and tbh I didn't know what to expect from it but holy cow! This story was gripping. I was hooked to it from the very first page. It started slow. This story gave me the vibes of Shadowhunters and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The whole visual and aesthetic created here by Veronica was so chilling. If you are into supernatural shows or books read this or even if you aren't still readi this you're gonna love it!!

good but I needed more

3.5 star

“No gods here, darling,” “Only demons.”

This started off really good, I was pretty engrossed for the first half but then it just sort of went downhill after that and I wasn’t as engrossed, which is odd because the most action happened in the second half of the book. I kept getting a feeling that there was going to be an “OMG” moment but it never came. Vale and Alder were my favourites and although I did love Matthias he was just too cinnamon roll for me but he did create that perfect balance within the trio. One of the characters did make me hella suspicious and I was waiting for them to betray Lily and her guys not gonna lie, I think that would have given me the wow element I was looking for. I am hoping and praying for Lucifer to get a book though, what little I did see of him had me intrigued to want to know his story

Lily is a down and out foster kid, months away from turning 18 when she's placed in a town in the middle of nowhere and weird things start happening. Weird things like being dared to go into hells gate and discovering three sinfully sexy men who can't leave you alone.

Turns out Lily is someone pretty damn important to these guys. And while they want her Alice others want her dead.

An easy read, funny and sexy.

Hell Gate is a standalone paranormal reverse harem within the Twisted Legends Collection.

I should preface by saying I don't read paranormal romance. I can't vibe with it anymore even after being a fantasy/paranormal reader for years. So this is a few and far between read for me and it takes an author fave to make me do it.

When I was first getting into this book it gave me Supernatural vibes in the best possible way. Give me a creepy cemetery, urban myths and hells gates any day of the week!
Lily has always been an outcast, she was different and always rejected an cast aside like she didn't belong. This was her last foster placement before she turned 18 an aged out of the system. This was the start of her new life....in more ways than one.

The premise of this story is absolutely fantastic. The world build and character blend was brilliant. But to squeeze in elements of lore, I was totally there for it. These parts kept me very interested in the story and binge reading til the end. Plus I do enjoy an enemies to lovers trope.

I highly recommend this for lovers of paranormal romance. Plus it's perfect being a standalone, we all need more standalone to add to our reading lists!

So…. when i first saw this collection, and more important, when i first saw what
legends every book was, this one was one that i more expected. Definitely, this book enter
on my TBR immediately.. and i have to say: i just loved.
Here we got the story about a girl (very confident and, even with the problems with solitude
and loneliness, she still strong) who, after a bet, to cross the Hell Gate (yeah, it’s no her
brilliant idea, but she thought that’s just a legend, so i forgive her kkkk). After that, she
encounters three sexy demons and she was stalked by them.
Over the narrative, she discover why strange things happen to her, why she so attracted by
the demons and more important, their relationship it’s build with a companionship and love
(and a lot spicy kkk)
I really liked this book and my only complain it’s that i wanted more kkkk

I love this take on urban legends surrounding “gates to Hell”! Lily is confident, smart, and resourceful AF. She has shoved the memories of her traumatic experiences way down deep, which admittedly isn’t the healthiest response, but it makes complete sense when you look at the way she’s treated afterwards and how that’s affected her ability to trust anyone. Despite her trauma, she has plans to survive and she just wants to get to her 18th birthday.

This was a fun story, with plenty of action, suspense, spice, and drama. I enjoyed trying to figure out the real story behind Lily’s abilities. The guys are also nicely distinct in looks and personality. I thought the boys of conflict between them and Lily were a nice touch - it made the sweetness and the romance feel more real. The story wraps up pretty neatly, and is a standalone. It’s technically part of the Twisted Legends series but you can read it without having read the others.

This was such a awesome 5 star read. This lady can write any kind of story and I'd read it hands down. This book was so much more than I thought I'd be. Lily hasn't had an easy life growing up she's always been looked at as different and trouble she's been moved from one foster home to another always due to incidents that happened, so she's buried all that rejection down deep until she ends up in Philadelphia and now she's just trying to make it to Halloween when she'll turn 18 and can leave, so she's trying to keep out of trouble until some girls she thought were accepting her convince her to go somewhere after curfew only to end up at Brim Hall cemetery and dare her to enter. That's all I'm saying you'll need to one click it and enjoy the wild ride this arthur takes you on, because it's a wild one. I absolutely loved this story and definitely would recommend.

Veronica took me on a dark and twisted journey with this fantastic owning one’s self romance and I didn’t want to see it end!

Lily is this young woman who has been shunned and mistreated all of her life. I love her and her strength, for all the strife she has been thru she is a true survivor, one helluva fighter and has the sass to match.

Valerian, Alder, and Matthias - her knight, her protector, her trickster. I adore each one in their own way - Val for his callous protectiveness, Alder for his keen eye and willingness to help, and Matthias for his never endless ways of bringing Lily happiness she so deserves.

The plot is one that I couldn’t peel my eyes from - this has the perfect amount humor, mystery, suspense, and heartfelt moments all wrapped up in a hot and steamy package laced with some demonic energy. I loved how Lily grew through out the story. Veronica penned this in such a flawless way that I could feel Lily confidence grow and see her blossom to her true potential. I really enjoyed how everything flowed effortlessly and how Lily’s relationship with her mates developed gradually rather than all at once. Definitely one of my favorite reads of the year and is shining example why Veronica is fast becoming one of my favorite authors to read.

Who knew evil could be so delicious?!?! Veronica made that happen with Hell Gate.

It's a paranormal, suspenseful, reverse harem, dark romance.

Lily, a foster kid about to age out of the system, has never felt wanted, or loved. Instead, she's been outcasted and told there was something was wrong with her and that's the reason no one will ever want her.

One night, she's given a dare that changes everything for her. Lily unleashes three demon guards - Valerian, Matthias, and Alder.

Each demon has their own personality and their own back story.

What I loved (as far as the RH side goes) is how Lily develops relationships with each demon. (Although I thought her and Valerian's relationship - or lack of- was going to make me go freaking CRAZY!)

I love how Veronica Eden created a story of growth and belonging. I think this story will resonate with a lot of people. If you feel like you don't belong or feel ashamed of who you are, there's nothing wrong with you. You just haven't find your tribe yet.

I highly suggest this one if you're looking for a hot read!

First. If you haven't given Veronica Eden a try you need to. When I found out she was doing an HR I was all for it. The I found it was paranormal. Just take my money. This book is a standalone in the Twisted Legends Collection. And by the the title its about Hell gates. After reading this book I went on adventure to find out more about the hell gates. Lily is being bounced around the foster care system when she ends up in a small town. When her and the other foster kids end up in the cemetery they dare her to do the ritual to open the hell gate what she wasn't expecting was her life to change when Valerian, Matthias and Alder all come to collect the price. This is a must read book for any paranormal lover. Also Veronica you need to do more RH.

Hell Gate was an entertaining, creative paranormal RH tale that had me hooked until the end. The story is part of the Twisted Tales collection. It takes us on a journey with Lily and her demons and was action-packed, suspenseful, steamy and adventurous and I enjoyed it.

Filled with twists and turns, the story had me frantically turning the pages to find out more. The author did a great job with world building and I loved the myths added to this tale surrounding the hell gates.

I loved the characters. Each of the guys were different in their own right, yet they were all so perfect for Lily. They all had great chemistry together and omg their steamy scenes were scorching.

My heart went out to Lily with all she's been through in her life, but I loved seeing her transformation and character growth as the story progressed.

This page-turner was well-written and evenly paced. I loved it and would highly recommend it to lovers of paranormal reverse harem.

Veronica knocked it outta the park with this book!!

Hell Gate is a paranormal reverse harem in the Twisted Legends Collection.

I love every single book Veronica Eden writes, and Hell Gate is one of my new favorites by her!!

Lily has gone through so much in her life and has grown up in foster care. Strange things have happened in her life that she can't explain. She is just waiting for her 18th birthday so she can leave.

When some girls in her group home dare her to do a ritual that is supppsed to open a gate to Hell, she meets three demons named Alder, Valerian, and Matthias. She isn't what they are expecting.

Ugh, I LOVE this book!! I loved everything about this story, its a perfect reverse harem!! Go read this book!!!!!
