This year, we explore a longer history of the anthropocene to help represent—and respond to—our contemporary moment. Together with the ISM’s curatorial and educational teams, including high school students in their River Ambassadors hands-on learning programs, we are considering what kind of tools we need with and for the Delaware River and watershed. Our cohort of Toolmakers, River Ambassadors, community members, and ISM visitors alike will share a year-long journey into healthier and just futures for all humans and non-humans along, and in, the watershed and river. In this phase we invite you to visit ISM to see and contribute to the dynamic exhibit, changing in three phases over the next year.
