Biography

Marlo Turner Ritchie is a bilingual consultant for non-profits, foundations and cooperatives with twenty years’ experience in community development, non-profit management and governance. She has consulted with over 50 organizations.

Marlo brings both process design & expert analysis. Skilled at helping groups identify challenges and decide how best to tackle them together, she will collaborate to create new spaces for reflection and action. With a systems approach, she will help your team articulate what is flowing, what is blocked and build consensus around how to improve things. Her work is grounded in participatory, empowering, anti-oppression approaches. Her service offer can be adapted according to the nature of your budget and the project.

Her areas of consulting include:

  • Organizational development and change management
  • Capacity building for individuals and groups
  • Organization and program evaluation / restructuring
  • Strategic planning
  • Leadership transition / succession planning
  • Fundraising and communication
  • Board and volunteer systems management development
  • Facilitation and design (retreats, stakeholder meetings)
  • Other themes and projects, depending on your needs

Creative, adaptive accompaniment solutions are needed just as urgently in our field as are the services and programs that we offer. You could benefit from someone outside of your team reviewing and enhancing your processes. Re-energize yourself and your team to make your mission come alive in new ways as you invest in sustainable organizational development.
